,,So what's wrong Beca, why did you wanted to speak to me?" I look to my hands. ,,Wait, it has nothing to do with Chloe right?"

,,It has to do w-with Chloe, but don't w-worry. It's nothing bad." Aubrey and I walk through the park right now. I couldn't talk inside, because of Nina. It's a surprise for her to and I want to tell her when I'm ready. I wish my mom was still alive, so I could tell her the good news.

,,Beca, what's wrong between you and Chloe? You don't talk about her behind her back like this, that isn't right." Aubrey stops walking and I sigh.

,,I'm planning a surprise. Chloe can't know about this."

,,You want me to keep a secret from my best friend?" I nod.

,,It's only for a few days, until I've arranged everything." Aubrey shakes her head.

,,No way! I'm not going to have a secret, Chloe's my best friend!"

,,Please, this surprise is the best surprise Chloe's ever going to get."

,,Tell me or I will tell Chloe you have a big secret and I know her... she doesn't like secrets or that people lie to her." I go into my pocket with my hand and pull the little box out of it.

,,This is the surprise I'm planning."

,,You're going to propose?"

,,Yeah, w-we've been together for four years now and I can't imagine my life w-without her. I'm just scared she says no."

,,Show me the ring." I do what Aubrey asks off me and open the box. Her mouth falls open and no words come out. ,,Ow, wow."

,,I know right? The ring is perfect for Chloe."

,,Yeah and Chloe's going to kill you. How much did you pay for this?"

,,That's not important, I just need to ask you if you're okay with this. Are you okay if I ask Chloe to marry me?"

,,You really want to do this huh?"

,,Yes, I don't know w-what I'm going to do w-when I don't get to have her in my life every day. I know I'm gone for long terms, but that doesn't mean I will neglect Chloe. Aubrey, I love her so much. I have w-wanted to do this for one year, but every time I got scared and didn't ask her. If I don't do it now, I never w-will."

,,Okay."

,,You're really okay w-with this? I'm going to marry your best friend."

,,If she says yes." Now the courage drops into my shoes. Aubrey thinks Chloe's going to turn me down? ,,But I know if she does, you two will be very happy. I know how much Chloe means to you and the other way around."

,,Thank you, Aubrey!" I say and give her a hug.

,,You're welcome, now what else do you need for the perfect proposal?"

,,A location, but first I need to go to Chloe's father to ask for his permission. If he doesn't w-want me to ask her, I w-won't."

,,Don't worry, he's probably going to overload you with a lot of questions, but every father does that. I have one question tho."

,,W-what's that?"

,,Who's going to give you away? I mean, you can ask your father, but I don't think you want to because of what he has done."

,,I honestly don't know, but I know for sure that I don't w-want my father at our w-wedding."

,,It's probably not a good idea to invite him, shall we go to Chloe's parents house?" I nod and after that Aubrey and I are on my way.
