I go home and see Riley and her friends "she walked out" Sam asks shocked and Holly nods

"Lucas how could you throw Maya about like a ball" Riley asks noticing that I'm here

"He started it and she's light just like a ball if not lighter" I say and she rolls her eyes

"Doesn't mean you throw her about" Riley yells and I walk into my room playing my Spotify when there's a knock on the door

"What" I ask and Cori walks in

"Hey bud I have something for you" he says sitting in my bed handing me a box

"This was your mothers before she passed" he says I open it and see a small song book and a few other items

"Thanks Cori" I say and he pats my back walking out

"Don't read" I read on the first page and I look to see a few songs there titled Tough Lover, Express and Something's got a hold on me.

"Hey Lucas we want you to apologise to Maya please she's downstairs" Topanga says I get up and walk to see Maya and the girls studying

"What's number three" Riley asks and Maya looks at her work

"3" she says and continues doing the work

"Look I'm sorry for throwing you in class" I say but she doesn't even look up at me

"Whatever" she says putting her hand on her cheek covering her face

"What's that on your cheek" I ask seeing a little mark by her ear

"Nothing" she says and continues with her work but her long hair covers her cheek

"It's not something someone has hurt you" I yell and she jumps nearly falling off of the bench

"Lucas stop" Sam says in a warning tone I walk off to my room and I hear yelling as a loud knock was on the door I get up and look in the living room and Maya's arguing with a man

"No I'm staying here to study I can't concentrate at home" she says and he rolls his eyes pulling her by the arm

"No you spoilt brat your going home" he says and she walks back in and gets her stuff she looks at me and a tear slips down her cheek

"Don't go with him" I hear Sam say and they hug

"I got to otherwise He'll tell my mom and last time he did that I spent the whole night with her talking to me about how it will affect my life" Maya says and they laugh

"Come on you stupid whore" the man yells and I clench my fists Maya walks out and you can hear yelling as they walk out of the building

"Who was the man" I ask the girls and they sit down

"That's Maya's stepdad he always calls her a whore because she gets partnered with a boy for a project and they work at her place so he thinks they sleep together" Holly explains getting a water

"Does he hit her" I ask sitting by them

"No she said the worse he had ever done is pull her arm when she's screaming at him" Sam says I nod again

"Do you like her" Riley asks and I shake my head

"No she's not my type I like badass girls" I say and they roll their eyes
