(Y/N)
I stopped in my tracks when I saw Erza leaving a building with a bright red flustered face. Her face contorted to anger and she muttered something about Evergreen lying. She whirled around to run in your direction but stopped when she saw me.
"(Y/n)?" She questioned with wide eyes.
"Hey, Erza!" I smiled and gave a small wave.
"I thought you were..." She began.
"I'll explain later." I interrupted. "Right now we have some idiots to beat. Wow... all of the S-classes in the same place at one time. Now we just need Mira to get angry and we'll be a force to be reckoned with."
She gave a curt nod and walked over to me. She looked up at the lightning lacrimas and narrowed her eyes.
"They have body-link magic," We both spoke. We glanced at each other and I gave a small chuckle.
"I guess you saw what they did to Bisca too?" Erza questioned and I replied with a nod. "Listen, (y/n), I know you and Laxus are... close but at this rate he won't be able to stay in Fairy Tail if this... when this ends." She looked down at her feet, lost in her own thoughts.
I walked over and wrapped my arm around her shoulders. "Don't look so down, Erza! We're gonna defeat this idiot and save the guild!" I grinned at her. I tried to put on a happy mask, knowing that when times were serious like this, you needed someone to keep it lighthearted; something I learned from Natsu. Though, I didn't really believe my words, I was just pushing away the pain I felt in my heart from Laxus' betrayal. I would deal with the heartache another time, for now I needed to put my guild first before my emotions.
"You're completely right, (y/n)." Erza smiled sadly at me. She could see how I felt and how fake my smile was, though we made a sort of silent agreement to ignore it.
Suddenly the runes changed and the outcome of a battle was written on it. "Lucy defeated Bickslow?!" Erza exclaimed.
"I knew she was one tough cookie." I smiled proudly. I adored Lucy and knew she had a dormant strength deep within her. She was just starting to see it.
The runes changed once again and a new battle was posted. "Freed versus... Mirajane?!" It was my turn to be flabbergasted now. Erza looked equally shocked.
"I guess the she-devil is making her return." I crossed my arms with a smirk. As if on queue, we saw two dark silhouettes fly into the sky, followed by a shrill demonic scream.
I chuckled to myself, watching the two brawl, the female obviously winning. "I never thought I'd see that again." I raised an eyebrow, watching the she-devil swing her claws at Freed.
