"Riley. Again. They are just a whole bunch of jerks that just want to get into your pants" I sighed walking out of the cafeteria. She rolled her eyes.
"Thats not what you said last year when you dated Lucas's cousin" she teased poking my cheek.
"That was a one time thing!" I yelled in my defense.

"Piper are you ready? We have been in here for over an hour and the party is tonight" Riley whined quietly as I continued to read the science book that was in my hand. We were currently in the library at 5:30. I shut the book and set it on the table softly. "Thank you. Now can we go?" She asked standing up and I shook my head.
"I have to check this book out and grab another book" I said pointing my thumb towards the bookshelves behind me. She huffed and slumped back in the chair she was sitting in before.
"Just hurry it up" she said thumbing at the edge of the hardback book that laid still on the wooden table. I hurried and ran down the isle and scanned the books that were in front of me. I ran my fingers over the sides of them and hummed to myself quietly. As I reached for the book I was looking for someone ran into me. I fell on my butt with a small thump. Today just isn't my day.
"Gosh I'm so sorry!" I looked up and saw a red haired girl sticking her hand out for me to take. I took her hand and lifted myself up.
"Don't worry about it" I said sliding out the book I was reaching for before I fell.
"I'm really sorry I wasn't watching where I was going" she said pushing her glasses up and clenching onto the books that I didn't even know she was holding onto. I waved my hand as she smiled and continued to do whatever she was doing and soon ran off. I shook my head before walking back to where Riley was pouting like a child that just got something tooken from them. I laughed quietly and picked up the book that was on the ground.
"Finally" she groaned out as I quickly checked the books out. "What took you so long?" She asked as we walked out of the building.
"Ran into a red headed girl" I said shrugging slightly.
"You mean Malissa" she said looking over at me with a raised brow.
"Yeah. What about her?" I asked as we made it to her car.
"She lost her virginity to Derek last week. She is so naive I don't get it" she said shaking her head as we hopped into the car.
"Seriously? She looked so innocent" I said shutting the door and placing my books on the floor.
"Looks can be deceiving" she said smirking as we began to pull out of the driveway.

"You look hot!" Riley exclaimed sitting on my bed as I looked in the mirror. I wore a black and purple two piece bathing suit that Riley bought for the party.
"It looks like anything can pop out at any time" I said turning to my side and looking at my butt with a glare. Riley laughed and stood up from the bed. She grabbed my shoulders and turned me back to the mirrior.
"You look amazing. I guarantee you going to have boys falling at your feet" she said smiling at my as she tuned and grabbed clothes to put over the suit. I slipped on the shorts and top.
"I don't want any guys falling at my feet. That's disgusting" I grimaced putting on my hoodie and a pair of shoes.
"Only to you Piper. Only to you" she sang quietly as I jumped on the bed and laid back.
"It is. I mean if you fall to someone's feet. You're going to smell their feet and that's disgusting" I mumbled rolling my eyes and rolling onto my stomach.
"You had to go there didn't you?" She sighed sitting next to me with a smile on her face. I licked my dry lips and slipped out my phone.
"Its only logic" I said tapping in my pass code. The noise of the front door opened and I quickly walked out of my room.
"Hey mom" I yelled down the hallway as Riley followed after me.
"Hey Piper and Rile. What are you girls up to?" She asked setting her purse onto the kitchen counter and letting out an exhausted sigh. Long day at work again.
"We are about to head out to the Senior party" Riley spoke before ei could open up my mouth. My mom poked her head out of the kitchen and narrowed her eyes at me.
"You know your father would not let you go to those parties" She said just like those other years.
"Yeah I know but he's not here so can you cover for me. I promise to be home before 12" I said in a convincing voice. "And you know I'm never late" I said lifting up a hand.
"But its a school night Pipes" she said leaning against the counter and raising a brow at me.
"Please mom! I promise! Riley will be there and She'll make sure I'm home on time!" I begged as Riley nodded her head behind me.
"Fine make sure your home by 12. Riley I'm counting on you" she said pointing at her.
"I promise everything will be alright Mrs. Soyer! You can count on me" she said giving my mom a salute. I chuckled lightly and looked back at my mom with a grin."Thanks mom!" I said giving her a hug as Riley grabbed the duffle bag that had our things in it.
"Have fun girls and be safe. Also don't be late. You know how your father gets" she said letting out a sigh and waved at us. I nodded and waved back.
"By mom! Thanks!"I said as we walked to the front door.
"Thanks Mrs. Soyer have a great night!" Riley said as she shut the door behind us. I let out a relieved sigh before wiping my forehead dramatically.
"Good thing my father isn't here" I said as a soft wind brushed my skin. Riley nodded putting the bag in her car.
"Remember the last time we asked him to let us go to a party" she said as my mind brought back the memory.
"Yeah that vain in his head almost bursted" I laughed.
