Y/n's POV
"Y/n, you're late," Angeline notified me when I walked onto the pitch.
"By only two minutes. Sorry, Angelina, but not everyone's lives revolve around quidditch," I mutter. "I've got better things to do."
"Whatever. Just get in position. We're going to have a friendly. Same teams as always," Angelina told me.
I groaned. "Again? Could we do a different exercise? When Oliver was Captain we did different things all the time."
"Well I'm not Oliver," Angelina countered. "Now hurry up. Everyone's waiting on you."
"Yeah yeah yeah," I murmur.
Quidditch was usually my biggest hobby. I mean, I was a Quidditch fanatic. My part of the dormitory was decorated in the colors and merchandise for the Holyhead Harpies, my favorite team. But today, it didn't interest me like it usually did. And the whole first half of practice, all I could think about what Draco. So, I flew down to the grass and dismounted my broom. Angelina and Harry followed after me, both with concerned looks on their faces.
"Where do you think you're going?" Angelina asked me.
"I'm bored," I share with her and Harry. "I'm not really feeling Quidditch today. A break is always good, right? I think I might just go and find Draco and see what he's up too. The two of us do have a date today, after all."
"Draco? As in Draco Malfoy? Our rival team's seeker?" Angelina questioned.
"That's the one," I confirm. "So, if you'll excuse me, I've got to go search for him. See you guys later!"
Harry's POV
"What is up with her? She always looks forward to Quidditch practice," Angelina pointed out. "I mean, she's always the first one on the pitch, and she's always ready to play a friendly if that means she can show off her skills. She also had an attitude with me earlier, which is unlike her. Something's up."
"I'm not quite sure," I confess. "For some reason, she's practically in love with Draco now. Ever since they became partners in potions and won that stupid prize she.....Wait a moment. Y/n and Malfoy did the best on an assignment Snape assigned a few days ago. For their reward, he gave them each a small vial of a love potion he said his older students were brewing. What if Malfoy used it on her? That'd explain everything!"
"A love potion doesn't last forever," Angelina recalled. "It has to keep being administered. Malfoy's a snake, like all Slytherins. He'd find a way. And if he does, we're gonna lose our star Chaser and we'll most likely lose tomorrow's game, which can't happen if we want to be in the running for the Quidditch Cup. When do you think he administered the first dose?"
"Well, she was acting weird this morning, so probably last night," I guess. "After dinner, maybe."
"A love potion typically lasts 24 hours," Angelina informed me. "So she'll be under it's affects until supper tonight, which is probably when Malfoy will give her another dose."
"So then we've gotta get her a antidote and tell her everything that's going on. I'd hate to leave practice but-"
"It's fine. Go," Angeline urged me.
Y/N's POV
"Hey," Draco greeted and leaned against the pillar behind him. "What are you doing out here? Shouldn't you be at Quidditch practice?"
"I wasn't feeling Quidditch today, so I left," I answer. "Figured I'd come find you. Maybe we can take a walk around the castle and talk about what we're gonna do at Hogsmeade. I know you mentioned the Three Broomsticks, but I also want to hit Honeydukes at some point. I've been craving sweets lately."
