Updates will be Tuesday's and Thursday's I think.

---

Believe it or not, I fell asleep on that island, and I fell asleep quickly. When I did wake up I frowned, not wanting to be there. I stood and looked around, noticing a package of astronaut food on the ground next to a folded up blanket and a pillow. A faint smile fell on my lips. At least this guy wasn't too crazy. I could be in a much worse situation.

"Oh. So Sleeping Beauty has awoken."

I turned and saw my siren resting on the sand with his tailfin dangling out into space. He had that small smile that he always seemed to have. I nodded in his direction.

"Thanks for the blankets and stuff..."

"No problem," He shrugged it off and I looked away.

"Say, how do you know about Sleeping Beauty if you're a space siren?"

"Oh, I have my ways," He said teasingly. I rolled my eyes and nodded.

"So, what do you do while you're gone?"

"Ah, you know. Things."

"Geez, you're so interesting to talk to aren't you? Can't you answer any of my questions?" I growled in frustration and sat back down.

He closed his eyes, probably in exasperation. "Fine. You can ask me three questions. Quickly now, you nosy bastard."

I looked down and contemplated what questions were most important. "Okay... where do you go off to?"

He barked out a short laugh. "Well, usually I would go and sing to try and bring in creatures or humans to eat. But lately I've been making trades and shit to get you food and a blanket. Two more questions."

I shivered as I thought of this angelic creature savagely ripping into flesh with his shark-like teeth. It was just his nature, but it still bothered me. Maybe while I'm here I can convert him to get off of human flesh at least. I swallowed nervously as I contemplated my next question.

"Alright... " I looked up at the sky, if I could even still call it the sky. It really was fascinating, with all of the stars swirling. I doubted I could ever get bored here. "Uh... Well, how are you-"

He held up a hand. "Before you waste your question, no, I do not know how I am possible to be alive and swimming in space."

"Oh... Well, okay, then how do you know how to speak English and stuff. Like, not only that, but also the lingo?" I questioned, honesty confused.

He shrugged and looked away. "Well, for as long as I can remember I could speak English. Most other things here speak English or some other earth language. As I said before though, I don't know how. I don't even remember much past about twenty years ago."

My eyes bugged out of my head. "No way are you over twenty!" I practically shouted.

He shrugged. "I don't know how old I am, all I know s that I haven't aged at all since then. I'm magic, bitch."

I pointed at him. "There! Right there! You use the lingo too, who taught you that?"

He sat up and crawled further up on the beach, uncomfortably close to me. He leaned back casually and flopped his tail fin frantically. "About five years ago I made friends with a space sharky dude. Yeah, don't act surprised. None of us decided to give each other official names. That's lame as hell. His name was Gerard. Anyway, we made friends and he knew a lot of it, I guess, and I picked up a lot."

Oh, well that wasn't as exciting as I was hoping it would be. I frowned and pondered what my last question. It had to be something I was dying to know. I just didn't know a good question I could ask that he would actually know. I wondered what had happened to Gerard that caused my siren to use the past tense. He was staring at me intently and I noticed for the first time that he had tattoos covering his torso and arms. I frowned and crunched my brows together. So tattoos were an outer space thing, too, huh? I looked down his arms and took notice of little gill like things down his arms and on his sides. There were probably some around his throat, too.

He was still staring at me so intently and it almost looked like he was about to jump on me and eat me. I shivered slightly at the thought. Deep down I knew that he wouldn't, not yet anyway. He wouldn't have kept me this long to just eat me now. That's when I realized that I didn't yet have a face to his name. He had my name, so why shouldn't I know his.

I was a little critical to ask though. The last couple of times I had asked I was shot down. Maybe if I worded it right... I glanced back at him and he had his mouth slightly open and my eyes fell on his pink lips... and then right to his shark like teeth.

Finally I took a deep breath and decided to just give it a shot, what could go so wrong? I'd just loose my last question which is okay... right? Shaking my head I looked at his raven hair that was somehow laying perfectly on his shoulders and across his brow.

"Okay, my last question is... Well, are you ever gonna tell me your name?" I asked, nervously tucking my hair behind my ear.

He smirked. "Oh, I'm sure I will at some point." I gasped as I realized my mistake. Shit. I don't know why I wanted to know his name but I really did. He crawled over to the edge of the island and hopped out into space. "Alright, do you need anything?" He asked me.

"Could you get me a hairbrush?" I asked in an annoyed voice.

He nodded and turned around, before glancing at me over his shoulder. "It's Kellin Quinn," before pushing away and disappearing.
