Beauty is a simple thing to gain
At least that's what they told her when she started this game
But they never said beauty is danger and pain
Societies judges started to claim
What she thought was beautiful was too plain
Loosen up, don't be prude that's how you win this gameNo food you must be thin
Bend your bones you must have curves
Blow up your face you must not sag
Anorexia, waist trainers and Botoxing
That is how you win this gameBeauty is a simple thing to gain
That's what they told her over and over again
As they ignored her injury and pain
Listen to me society sang
That is how you'll win this gamePut it all out there but don't be a slut
Post everywhere but don't be an attention seeking butt
Don't be stuck up but never let them touch
Balance on the blade of a knife but never get cut
That is how you'll win this gameBeauty is a simple thing to gain
Society's rules changing again and again
Pitting girls against girls as they all strain
To win some glory after all their pain
Oh how desperate they were to win the gameStuck in a loop of failure and pain
Never able to get out of this game
Desperate to get off the crazy train
But the only way out is to win the gameBeauty is a simple thing to gain
That's what they told her when she started this game
They never told her about the pain
They never told the only way out of her shame
Was to win or to be slain
But it was always impossible to win the game-1-16-17
