"Friendship is like a glass, once it is broken it can rarely be put back together exactly the same way."
-Alice Johnson
"Will you stop calling it a date? It's not a date J!" I informed Julie.
Right now I'm in the bathroom getting ready for this hang out with Lawrence while Julie sits on my bed arguring with me about this being a date.
"Sorry to say it but its a date Al. Nothing more to it."
"No it's not! If it was a date then only me and him would be going. You're coming also and someone else."
"Okay, fine. It's a double date then. Happy now?"
I groaned and stepped out of the bathroom and entered my room. "No I'm not happy J. I don't even want to go on the stupid dat-hang out."
"Aha! You almost said date so I was right! It is a date."
I huffed and threw my hands up in surrender. There was no point in even trying to get her to understand.
"Anyways why are so happy about this supposedly date? You don't even know who you're date is."
"And that's why I'm happy and also anxious. I can't wait to find out who's my date. He'd better be cute or at least funny but mostly cute."
I laughed a little and said "Are you positive your dates going to be a boy?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"It'd better be! Now way am I going with a girl! That'd be...weird. Ugh." She shivered and rolled her eyes in disgust.
I chuckled and finished sliding on my shoes and faced Julie. "So, how do I look?"
She looked from the bed and overlooked my outfit before commenting. "The outfit totally fits you. I especially love the shirt the most."
"Thanks! You don't look bad yourself either."
"Really?! I just gave you two huge compliments and that's all you have to say?! Ugh! You're such a mean person Al."
I was laughing so hard when she begin to pout that I didn't even see Josiah come into my room until he spoke up.
"Well look at you two getting all excited for your dates. It's so adorable that I should take a picture to mesmerize this moment."
"You think you're so funny don't you?" I asked while smiling.
"I can't help it that I'm a comedic genius." I scoffed and rolled my eyes.
"Let's not get to confident. Oh, and its not a date. We're just hanging out with...friends."
Julie scoffed and laid up in the bed. "She's in denial that its a date but really its a date."
He shook his head and said "Gotcha." Julie and him then began to laugh while I continued to bicker about this supposedly date to be just a hang out.
As we all chatted we heard the doorbell ring and Josiah was the first to speak. "Looks like your dates are here ladies."
"I'll go get the door. You coming J?"
"Duh! I want to see who my date is." We both exited my room and headed downstairs towards the door.
When I opened it there stood Lawrence wearing a leopard shirt. I raised an eyebrow. "Really? Leopard?"
He grinned and said "Really? Keep calm don't make me angry?" He said referring to my shirt.
"Yep. I'm referring to you, so...don't get me angry." We both smiled at each other but it was more like a staring challenge.
Julie interrupted and asked anxiously "So...where's my date?"
