"Nothing lasts forever, not the mountains nor the sea,but the times we've had together will always be with me"

-Lawrence

I woke up still feeling tired and wished that I didn't have to get up for school but I knew I had to. I have to face my nightmares today.

Sluggishly I threw the covers off and got up to go to the bathroom. I entered and began to overlook myself in the mirror while brushing my teeth.

I obliviously had my moms medium long brown hair and emerald green eyes like her. My body shape was slim but I also had a few curves here and there.

Josiah looks just like are dad with his short and spiky dark black hair and hazel brown eyes. He also is very tanned and well fit just like dad was.

Ugh. Just thinking of him made my stomach turn upside down. I finished up in the bathroom and went over to my closet to get dressed.

Not being in the mood I just grabbed whatever came into view and put them on. I was ready to go but I didn't even want to go downstairs to face him but I had no choice.

With a heavy sigh I unlocked my door and made my way downstairs to the kitchen. I expected to see Josiah cooking but instead he was sitting at the kitchen table with his hands covering his face.

I was deciding on if I should say something or if I should just leave without saying anything. Deciding I coughed to get his attention and his head immediately snapped up.

He got up from the table and rushed over to me and tried to hug me but I backed away from him not wanting to be hugged by him right now.

"I'm only talking to you so you can explain to me why you're dating Christie Pierce. How'd you two even happen?"

"I-It sorta just...happened, Al. I was going to tell you but I know you don't like her so..."

"Of course I don't like her! She use to bully me every single day of my life until she left for college! But you don't care do you?"

"Of course I care! You're my baby sister. I'm so sorry for not telling you, Al. I should've told you but I didn't. If there's anything I can do-"

"Break up with her then. If you really care about me then dump Christie."

"A-Alice...I-I can't" he said with a apologetic tone.

I scoffed in surprise. "Well I guess that shows how much you care." He tried to say something but I had already walked outside and bumped into Lawrence.

He grinned at me and said "Seems someone finally did as I said."

I rolled my eyes at him. "I'm not in the mood." I walked past him and he caught up to me and stopped me.

"What's up with you? You're usually more...fun."

"Well my brother is going out with Christie so I'm not really in a fun mood today."

"You mean Diana's sister? The one who use to bully you?"

"Yep. That's the one. Seems she's back in town causing trouble already for me."

"When did she even get back?"

"Who knows?! I just want her to leave town and never come back" I said aggravated.

Lawrence laughed and I shot a glare at him. "What's so funny?!" I asked while crossing my hands.

He stopped laughing and said "Nothing's funny. It's just...you look really hot when you're mad" he said huskily.
