A/N: Sorry guys, I'm still alive and exams are finally over! So I'm back for sure this time :) And this is the update some of you have been waiting for. Although the writing may be a little rusty, I hope you guys like it!!!

It's only been one week and my life has been turned upside down. With Mother right behind my heels, I'm really feeling the pressure, though having her harrassments kept minimal has infact lifted a load off my shoulders. However, the biggest problem that I must face in a few days is undeniably my priority. How the hell do I tell my fiancée that she's my fiancée?! Not considering the fact that we're practically strangers, who, clearly, know nothing of one another. Well...despite the background check I did earlier - seems like her angelic appearance and actions were all for show. Also, the impression I've gotten from the night at the club evidently proves that she's no saint.

My back dips into the cushion and my body sank effortless into the couch. I let out a stressing sigh and my fingers began engaging with my phone. Guess I have no choice now do I? My thumb worked quickly to the contact list and stopped Elizabeth's name. Hesitantly I tapped it and the diallng proceed.

Beep- beep- be- *clank*

"Hello, Elizabeth Stil speaking." Giggles filled as the background noise and I could hear her trying  to hush the others. "Hello?"

"um... Hi Miss Stil, this is I...er..I mean Derek," I chocked at my own embarrassment. "Sorry, am I interrupting you?"

"Derek? Mr Connor? No, of course not," she stuttered confusingly, "how can I help you?"

"I was wondering if you would be up for dinner? Tommorrow night? I mean, I want to apologize properly in Milly's stead." There was a long pause and my insides began flipping up and down.

"Um, would your girlfriend come ambushing out of nowhere and pull my hair?" I could hear sacasm in her voice and she laughed jokingly. An unexpected smile lifted at the corner of my lips. The humerous side of her was unexpected, somewhat different from the usual cold appearance that I always see.

"No, I hope not. So...what do you say? My shout of course."

"Um, sure, as long as the food is free then I'm in." Not sure if I was imagining but her voice sounded as if she was excited. I guess food is really a girl's best friend after all.

"I'll send you the details and pick you up tomorrow," I offered.

"Yeah, thank you for the invitation," she thanked and hung up.

I felt somewhat happy. What is this weird feeling? I'm acting like a little high school girl. By the end of this week, I have to propose to her no matter what or my title of CEO would be at stake. Damn it Mother, I just want to play around and become a bachelor.

The words jumbled everywhere as if passing through one ear and out the other - the only word that was still ringing in my ears was her name, Elizabeth. It has been haunting me all night and with my sleep-deprived appearance, I wonder how I had intended to impress her tonight. A knock echoed off the door and my eyes avert up immediately.

"Oh,it's you," I sighed as I see Joshua walks in with half a smile on his face.

"Dude, you look like trash," he mocked, "so what did your mum do this time?" Oh I love how he could just read the situation.

"I'm going on a date with Elizabeth tonight," I informed exhaustedly, running my hand through my hair and, childishly, spinning the chair around in circle, catching a glimpse of confusion plastered on his face.
