Grayson's POV

And it was official. Nate and I were back on. It had been a few days since our mysterious hookup and Ethan catching us together. But Nate and I agreed to give us another go and see where it'll lead us.

Ethan seemed to have moved on too. He was hanging out with our childhood friend Dani and they seemed really close. I didn't know if they were dating but I've occasionally seen them around the house kissing and cuddling. It did hurt me abit seeing him with someone else but maybe this was how it was supposed to be.

We're brother and it wouldn't be right of us to ne together.

So I moved on from Ethan. He was my brother and nothing more.

Cameron had given me a miss call like 2 days ago but I hadn't called back. I didn't want anymore drama in my life. It was just me and Nate now.

Nate had asked me on a date and he was picking me up. I was hoping that this time the date will go well and not mess up like last time.

I quickly had a wash,shaved and got dressed.

I just put on a pair of black jeans, and a checked shirt and got my beanie. Nate said he'll pick me around at 7 and it was just 6. But I was already ready.

Ethan was at home. He had mysteriously disappeared in the afternoon. Maybe he was meeting up with his secret 'girlfriend'.

I flopped on the couch and switched on the tv. There was nothing on so I just kept flicking through the channels.

Honk honk

That must be Nate.

I went out and there was Nate right on time in his car.

'Hop in bub' he said giving me his million dollar smile.

His jawline is so perfect

I got in and asked 'Where we off too?'

'How does Pizza sound to you?' He asked skimishly.

'Sounds good. Go to Diognors Pizza please. And I'll return the favor once we get back home' I chuckled.

'Sure babe'

We arrived there in about like 30 minutes time. The place was packed.

'Dude I don't think there's gonna be a free booth here' I said looking at Nate.

'Wanna go some place else?' He asked.

Just as we turned back and headed towards the car someone called out my name.

Grayson! Over here!

I searched for the voice and it was Dani. And she was it Ethan.

She kept gesturing me to head over to their booth in the corner.

I was not reluctant to do so, but eventually headed there.

'Heyy guys' Nate said.

'Come sit with us' said Dani.

Nate just hopped into the opposite seat and pulled me after him.

I sat down and the waitress came and took our orders.

'So Gray. It's been so long. I haven't had the time to talk to you even though I was at your place. Sorry about that.' Dani said.

'Yea. You're around alot now' I said with a smirk.

Dani just looked at Ethan and just looked and her lap with a look of despair.

'Wait. No I like it that you're around' I quickly said.

'Babe, loosen up' said Nate closing up on my ear.

'Oooohhh. GRAY YOU'RE DATING NATE?!?' Dani exclaimed. 'OMG I'M SO EXCITING FOR YOY GRAY.'

'Haha we just got back together a few days back' Nate said before I could say anything.

'Aww. You look cute together. Don't they Ethan?'

'Uhh what. Oh yea. Cute. ' Ethan said in one breath and just looked away.

Our pizza arrived and that broke the tension that was at the table.

'So.. are you guys like a thing now?' Asked Nate looking at both Dani and Ethan.

Ethan just looked at Dani and smiled. And she just giggled and cuddled closer to him and said 'Yeah. We are'.

I didn't know why I felt so angry. I was with Nate but looking and Dani hanging onto Ethan so close made me angry.

But Ethan. Ethan looked happy. Maybe this was what he wanted. Maybe this was how he wanted things to be.

'Be right back. I gotta go to the washroom' I said and quickly rushed off to the bathroom.

I locked myself in a stall and just stood there.

Breathe Grayson. BREATHE. It'll all be fine. You're happy with Nate. .he's your life now.

But I couldn't. I started tearing up and before long I was pouring it all out.

And I finally made up my mind.

I missed Ethan.
