Boros charged at me with fast speeds, almost knocking me back as his fist connected with my crossed arms that blocked my face. Skidding across the floor, my feet left dents in the metal and smoke rose from my boots. How did he get stronger?
He was definitely quick on his feet. I could barely see him as he raced around me in all directions, making it difficult for me to see him. I turned around, seeing him behind me and threw a punch. But, it unexpectedly went through his after image. How fast had he gotten?
I suddenly got hit in the back, sending me flying forward. I quickly switched the way I was facing by flipping around and grabbed onto the ground with my feet planted onto the floor to slow myself down. More metal skid marks were forced into the ground with large dents where I stood.
Maybe I could slow him down by making him use up all his energy? That way, I'd have a better chance at seeing him.
Boros and I stood opposite each other, staring each other down with hate. He looked a bit worn down. Maybe this was my chance?
I sped toward him, raising clenched fists towards him and his body, landing each blow with speed and power. I wanted to end this quickly.
His body exploded into pieces of blood and meat. However, it morphed him back together into one piece. Just like last time, he wouldn't seem to die or get injured.
His armour had already come off from my attack, which shattered it. It revealed his blue skin and large red orb that laid in his chest. He seemed quite eager to fight more as he began to roar loudly as his joints glowed purple and his skin turned dark blue, parts of him illuminating a sparking light blue.
"You remember what comes next, do you not? This is where I defeat you!" He yelled, charging at me with delight and expectation on his face.
I was familiar with this change. Last time he did the exact same thing. But, it didn't turn out too well for him. I dodged his attack, realising he was actually slowing down that speeding up.
This might just be my lucky break.
(Reader's POV)
I woke up to the feeling of a burning headache. How many times did I seriously have to wake up? Was I having an issue with passing out or something?
"S-Saitama?" I mumbled, slightly groaning from the painful headache.
I rolled onto my side and saw Xendus sitting beside me. His expression was of concern as he grabbed a cold face washer and dabbing it on my forehead.
"How are you feeling miss?" He asked, placing the washer in a bowl of cool water.
"Terrible..." I replied as I leaned up on my arms.
I looked around and quickly noticed the hole in the wall that was made from Boros' flying body. That's right, Saitama had come to save me. Wait, Saitama?!
"W-where's Saitama?!" I asked in a desperate tone.
"He's currently in a battle with master-Boros." Xendus replied.
I slowly sat up, hoping to get out of bed, but was being pushed down by Xendus, who wanted me to stay still.
"Please miss. You will get worse if you move too much." He said.
"I'm fine, Xendus. I just need to find Saitama."
He looked at me with defeat, knowing that he had to tell me where he was.
"He's in the big hall. But please, miss. Be careful. I don't want you hurt." He said, eager to keep me safe.
"I'll be fine, okay?" I replied.
