Previously, Black Pink stirred up curiosity as they shared an image of their logo but with the words 'Blink'. Many fans assumed this to be the official fandom name for the girl group.
Then on January 16, one of the Black Pink members, Jennie, confirmed the official fandom name with a post on Instagram. Her birthday message for her fans read,"BLINK my favorite people on this planet. I can't thank you guys enough for all the gifts and letters. I am so blessed to have you guys. I am more than thankful for all the love I received today. I love you blinks."
