Chapter 4

Sean's P.O.V.

I think I'm starting to like Victoria. She has a really great personality and is really smart and funny. Also, the obvious, she's gorgeous. Her and Jess went to the bathroom and then Raquel started talking to me..

"Hey Sean baby." Raquel says touching my arm.

"Uh hi." I say. This is totally weird.

"You know you want me." Raquel whispers in my ear. I'm totally uninterested in her. I hate when girls are too cocky and think everyone is in love with them.

"I actually like someone else.." I explain. She does the puppy dog face.

"Who? Victoria? She told me earlier she isn't into you! She says you aren't her type at all!" She tells me and it makes me feel like someone punched me in the stomach. Did Victoria really say that? I really am starting to like her and that hurt.. As I'm thinking I feel kisses on my neck. It's Raquel.

"Can you stop that! I said I like someone else I'm really sorry but I don't like you like that." I say as kindly as I can. Next thing I know Victoria is back from the bathroom and sits next to me. I hope she didn't see that.. I would really have no shot with her.

Victoria's P.O.V.

I have to go back to the table. I have to act like nothing's wrong. I can do this.

"How was the bathroom?" Raquel asks me mischievously.

"It was fine but it looked like you had such a better time out here with Sean." I say as coldly as possible. That really shut her up. Sean's face turns from happy to sad. I wonder why when he was just getting with Raquel. To a guy that's nothing to be sad about.

"Anyway.. Does everyone like the pizza?" Sam says to lighten the mood.

"Actually I find it nasty and appalling like certain people at this table." I say with a smile. Jess tries to hold back her laughter but fails. After a few minutes of awkward silence, the group starts chatting again.

"Are you ok?" Sean asks me quietly.

"No I'm not actually." I say in a pretty mean way.

"Is it because of what happened before?" He asks confused.

"I just can't believe my cousin would do that." I say. I'm not surprised Raquel would do that, it's just why did she do it to me?

"She's you're cousin?!" Sean says in utter disbelief.

"Yeah. Sadly at times." I say.

"She told me that you didn't like me or even think I was cute so why are you upset?" Sean asks and I can't even process what just came out of his mouth. Raquel KNOWS that I think Sean is like the hottest person ever. She obviously has a hidden agenda.

"I never said that! I would never say that especially because I think you are more than cute." I blurt out without realizing what I just said and I start blushing. He smiles.

"Thank you and I'm sorry for what happened before, I told her I didn't like her and to stop." Sean confesses. That's the first time someone EVER has told Raquel to stop, this is monumental. When we are done eating we go back to the carnival.

"Does anyone wanna go on that roller coaster?" I ask the group avoiding eye contact with Raquel.

"I'll be joining you!" Sean says while walking towards me. Ughhh he's perfect. His blue eyes are glistening in the dim lights at the grove.

"Any other brave takers?" I ask praying Raquel doesn't say she's going two. No one else wants to go and that makes me so happy. I get on the line to buy tickets with Sean and just as I was about to buy my tickets, he pays for me.

"You don't have to do that." I say.

"But I want too." He tells me smiling.

"Thank you, that's really sweet!" I exclaim. We join the line to the roller coaster and are shortly on the ride.

"Are you scared?" Sean asks me nervously.

"No, are you?" I laugh. He nods.

"Don't worry it'll be ok. It's fun." I try to explain as the ride starts. He looks so nervous it's really cute. I take a risk and hold his hand and we look at each other and smile. I felt butterflies and fireworks at the same time. He instantly looks more comfortable.

"Did you like it?" I ask curiously.

"It was better than I expected." He says.

"At least you didn't throw up." I chuckle. He laughs. We walk toward our friends who are playing the overpriced carnival games. Sean pulls out his wallet and plays the soccer game. Which includes him kicking the soccer balls into the goal and gets 5/5 in! He's really good.. Athletes are so sexy. He chose a huge bear that is hugging a heart that says "you're beautiful" on it. He hands me the large, adorable bear.

"Aww thank you it's adorable!" I shout. This is the cutest thing ever.

"Anytime, the bear speaks the truth." He says. I blush. Everyone is now saying goodbye because it's about 11 pm. I hug everyone goodbye and I exchange numbers with Tanner and Sean. Besides Sam and Jess, we are the only ones exchanging numbers which makes me happy.

"I'll text you later." Sean says and winks. I say ok and smile widely. Now that we are all leaving I have to face Raquel. This should be interesting..
