Chapter 6

I hate seeing my brother like this. It hurts me because it's my fault that they broke up.

"I thought h-he loved me!"He cries into my chest and holds my shirt.

"I-I-Is it because I'm ug- ugly? Because I'm a ne- nerd?" I shush him and keep rubbing his back. I didn't think it would make Zayn feel this bad.

"I'm such a bad brother." I mumble to myself.

Stephanie leaves soon after Zayn did. I don't even know why he threw this box at me. I haven't done anything wrong. I mean he broke up with me and poured water on me. I pick up the box in curiosity and open it, I see this stunning necklace that has "love conquers all." engraved on it.

"What?" I pick up what seems like a ripped card. I picked up the part that had a lot of writing on it.

My lovely Hazzabear,

Your eyes are like the grass that was around us when we first kissed. I love them.

Your hair is like the chocolate that you gave me when you took me home. I loved it.

Everything about you is just great. I've never felt like this about anyone, not even my first dog.

"Why would he write this?" I take the necklace out of the box and look at it then back at the card.

Is this  a way of saying that he wants me back?

I'm so confused.

I wake up the next morning with heavy eyes. I look at the time and gasp.

"No!" I rush and get up to get dressed. I run around the room trying to stuff things in my bag while brushing my teeth. I soon bump into my nightstand causing everything to fall. I walk over to pick up the stuff that fell on the floor but a crunch stops me. I look down to see what I stepped on.

my glasses.

I curse under my breath until Javadd yells out.

"Zayn, you will get left!" I panic until I realize that I still have a back up. I go to my drawer and look for them but they aren't there. I walk downstairs and scratch my head.

"Javadd? Where are my glasses?" I look up and Javadd is biting his lip.

"They should be where you left them." He pulls at his collar and swallows hard. I could have sworn that I left them where I put them when I moved back here into my old room.

"But-"

"We don't have time. We need to leave now."

"What? No! I've never been without my glasses."

"I guess you're gonna have to wing it." We get to school just in time before class starts.

"Enjoy class." Javadd smiles and walks in the opposite direction.

"Screw you." I walk into Psych class and see Harry with his head down on his desk. I'm still his partner so I sit down next to him and he suddenly shifts and lifts up his head. I notice that he has the necklace I got him.
