Chapter 22

-Harry

I head out and drive towards the hospital.

"I get to pick up my Zaynie today." I sing to myself as I walk into the building.

"Hello, Harry." I wave to the nurse and make my way to his room. I open the door and he's already good to go. The doctor walks towards me and hands me a bottle of pills.

"Make sure Zayn takes these once a day so the baby can be healthy and change the bandage on his hand at least twice a day." I nod and he walks out.

"I missed you so much." I pull Zayn into a hug then kneel down to his bump. I smile at it and kiss his tummy.

"We almost lost you peanut but your strong daddy made it. I love you." Zayn giggles and pulls me back up for a kiss.

"I missed your lips." I place my forehead on his and look into his eyes.

"I missed you." I grab his hand and we head out. I help him into the car and we head back to his house. When we walk in, I see his mum who runs up and hugs him tightly.

"My poor Zeebee!" She smothers him with kisses until Zayn pulls her off of him.

"I'm fine now, Mum. Harry and I had actually something to tell you." I look nervously back at her. She leads us to the backyard patio and we sit down. Zayn sits in my lap and his Mum sits across from us.

"Okay, Mum, you know how Harry and I have been dating for about 2 and a half months now?" She nods and smiles.

"My little one has finally gotten someone! I'm so happy for you!" Zayn looks down and then back at me. I nod at him and he turns back.

"We're engaged."

I wake up feeling Louis beside me. I turn to him and he's playing with my hair. I smile and kiss him. He giggles and he gets up running towards the back hallway.

"You can't get me, Malik!" I get up and chase after him. I walk into my room and look around, I notice something different. When I realise it, I laugh and play along.

"I didn't know I had a life-size statue of Louis! I wonder if it's life-like as well." I creep over to him and start tickling him. He laughs out and falls on the ground with me on top of him. We are very close I look into his eyes and he stares back into mine.

"You're very cute." He looks away shyly but I gently push his face back towards mine. I point at the middle of my jacket.

"You got something there." He looks down and I immediately kiss him. He smiles into the kiss and feels through my hair.

I don't want this to end.

-Zayn

"You're what?" Okay, so mum didn't take the engagement well and now she's not taking the pregnancy well.

"Zayn, I thought you knew better than that. How could you be so immature?" I look down at my hands. She was right, I was too caught up in the moment to actually use a condom but I didn't know I could get pregnant! It's mum's fault for not telling me.

"Mum, you never told me I could get pregnant. If you would have told me then I would have been more cautious." I look back up at Mum who looks back at me with tears in her eyes.

"I didn't want to tell you because I want you to live like a normal teenage boy. If I told you earlier, someone could find out and they'll make fun of you. You know I only did it because I love you."

"Someone could find out about this!" I point to my stomach.

"Here. I'll tell you what. You even things out, I'll buy stuff for the baby." I shake my head and Harry steps in.

"Ms. Malik, you really don't have to do that. Zayn and I are fin-"

"We'll be even."

"Fine." I shake her hand making a deal.

"I'm very happy for the two of you. Even if you are young." She smiles and gets up.

"Thank you, Harry."

"For what?"

"Not leaving Zayn all alone in all of this." Harry gives her a smile.

"I better head in before Javadd and Louis mess up the house." Mum kisses my forehead and heads inside.

"I'm glad she's understanding." I turn to face Harry and peck him on the cheek.

"Let's head inside. Don't want to catch a cold." We both head inside with smiles on our faces.
