Noctis made his way out to the throne room of his father, King Regis. "The decreed hour has come" said The King as he look down at his son and his companions "Set Forth with my blessing Prince Noctis" Noctis bowed "Yes.... Y-Your Majesty" "Take your leave and go in the grace of the gods" Noctis turned and walked away. The Four boys made there way outside The Citadel. "Well princes will be princes" Prompto joking at Noctis "so much for Royal Protocol Noct" Ignis said "not like you had to deliver a formal address" Gladio said
As they were making there way down the steps, than The Kings Royal Guard shouted at the prince. Noctis turned and his father came up to him. "Dad , What now" Noctis said in a tone "I fear I have left to much unsaid" Said the king as he walked down the steps of The Citadel with his son "you place a great burden on those who bear with you" Noctis chuckled "your one to talk" "I ask not that you guide my wayward my son" Regis looked at his comrades "merely that remain by his side" The 3 boys bowed "indeed, we will your highness" Ignis said "hate to break this up but Cor's got the car running" The Prince adressed looking down at The Regalia. Noctis continued down the steps. "One more thing my son, Do mind your manners around the princesses of Tenebrae"...."Do mind your manners with our esteem guess from Niflheim" Noctis with a sarcastic tone "you have no cause for concern" "Nor do you father". "Take heed once you set forth you cannot turn back" Noctis was silent. Regis faced him straight "I need only know your ready to leave home behind". " I dunno about you but I'm ready as I ever be" Noctis answered "Take care on the long road... and remember wheresoever you should go.. The line of Lucis will be with you" Regis said putting a hand on Noctis' shoulder, he nodded and walked to the Car.
As Regis looked down at the Prince he whispered "I love you, My son".

Lightning made her way to the bar after a long day in the Guardian Corp. She let out a huge sigh. "You tired?" One of her good friend Lebreau asked. "Yeah, I had to train some new recruits that just joined the Corp. One of them I think was trying to hit on me" Lightning said taking a sip of her cold ice tea. Vanille, Hope and Sazh came by. "Hey guys hows it-" Hope was interrupted by the Televison. "Breaking news today, the King of Lucis and Niflheim Emperor Aldercapt have agreed to sign a treaty to stop battling for the City of Insomnia and its crystal but later at around 1.26pm a huge explosion came by The Citadel. The shield that protected Insomnia long ago have been brought down and Niflheim Ships came down holding the Magitek soldiers caused chaos in the city with many people losing their lives to help the beloved King of Lucis. It was just in that King Regis Lucis Caelum is reportedly dead and the throne has been taken by Niflheim. No word on Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum status at the moment and we'll update later."
Lightning, Sazh, Vanille, Hope and the rest of the civilians in the crowd were Shocked on what has happened in Insomnia. Fang called out to the gang as she is the Commander of Guardian Corp. They arrived at her office. Silence filled the air, know one didn't know what to say until Fang spoke up. "Okay.... we need to set up defences just in case the next attack comes at us, I know for a fact Niflheim are looking to Attack Cocoon next" she stood up and called someone up to her office "Whos Cor Leonis ?" Snow asked "Cor was one of King Regis' Royal Bodyguard, very tough warrior, he was here for Business purposes for the King" than Cor came at the door, everyone stared at him, he was wearing a black jacket with the golden Lucian crest on it along with black trousers and black boots. "Cor, we need your help" Fang called out

Noctis, Prompto, Ignis and Gladio had stop by Hammerhead because of the car breaking down on their trip to Galdin Key. "Remind me again why we let Prompto drive?" Noctis sounded angry at his blonde friend. Than came the mechanic, She was a blonde woman who wore a Hammerhead cap, Yellow jacket that stop halfway her upper body, denim shorts and boots. "Oh Hi there Prince!" The Girl had an accent
"Hey, uhh will you able to fix the car"
"No worries there Prince, I got you covered but...." the woman had concerned look on her face "it'll cost ya 6,000 gil"
The boys looked at Prompto like they wanted to punch the head off him
Noctis sighed, he than handed her 6,000 gil. "Okay il mosey on this pretty car of yours, if ya'll like you can stay in that caravan for the day. il charge it for free" The woman smiled.
Noctis thanked her and the boys made their way to the Caravan.
The Next morning, Noctis had just woken than Gladio Came bashing in the caravan door, Noctis looked at him surprise. Gladio looked that he felt sad for his friend. "Whats that look for?....." there was silence in the room. His friends didnt say one word until Gladio finally spoke up. "Insomnia..... was attacked"
"What!" Noctis shouted out
"Calm down Noct" Ignis recalled
Gladio kept reading the Paper "Insomnia was attacked by Niflheim soldiers during the signing of the treaty, the shield that protected the City was brought down, ships of Niflheim came down causing massive destruction around the area. It has been said that...... King Regis Lucis Caelum has fallen"
Noctis was silent, he sat down and tried to cope what was said to him. His friends felt sorry for him and wanted to comfort him but did not know how. Noctis just lost his Kingdom and his father, who was the last remaining member of his family.

Fang and Cor set up CDU. Which was Cocoon Defence Unit. It was set up just in case for Niflheim attack. Fang and Cor made there way to the others. "We set up soldiers around the Perimeter of the city and than us along with the other soldiers got the ships that may come down on us... this is gunna be tough, The Niflheim soldiers uses Daemon DNA on their 'special machines' " she called out to the group, Lightning was ready, no one was gunna take her and her little sisters home. Everyone was planning strategies until Cor's phone rang. Everyone looked at him "who is it?" asked Hope. Cor looked at the Name
"Its- its the prince"
