Nic is obviously terrified of men.
Any loud noises scare her.
If anyone suddenly touches her, she freezes, breathing heavily until Im able to calm her down.
It breaks me to see her like this.
I think my fathers joking caused some kind of flashback. She had been crying for a 'Mama'.
I felt a tap on my shoulder.
Broken out from my thoughts, I looked over to see Nicole giving me a sheepish smile.
I furrowed my eyebrows.
"What's wrong Nic?"
I turned to face her.
She had been using her hands to speak all day so far.
Blushing deeply she signed out the letters:
R-O-O-M
I smiled at her.
"C'mon" I took her hand, leading her to my bedroom.
K! I said there was an announcement. And there is!
