Nicole pov

"Youre just a fucking fag!" I was thrown against the wall, a picture fell, glass shattered.

"Youre useless and you know it." I was kicked, beaten, whipped.

I woke with a gasp.
I looked over at Rusty.
She was still asleep.

I slid out of the bed, careful not to wake her.

Nicole. What are you doing?
I ignored Nyx.

I made my way to the bathroom that was connected to Rusty's room.

I needed release.
Nicole! Please dont do this! Youll hurt Rusty! She wouldnt want you to do this!

I know, but I need to do this. It hurts not to.

I reached for the razor, trying to fight Nyx off.

Nyx took control, forcing me to change.
A pure black wolf with deep blue eyes.

The razor fell to the floor.

I tried to fight her, once again. A fight to take back control.
But it was useless.

Nyx pov

I cant believe Nic would do something like this. I had to take control from her. I knew it would cause us to shift.

I felt her fight back. But I easily held her back. She hadnt shifted since she was little. We both needed this.

Nyx! Give me control!
NO! I practically snarled at her.
She stopped fighting.
Nic, I know why you dont want me around Rachel, you think I would hurt her. But not only is she your soul mate. She is my mate.

I padded out of the bathroom, over to Rusty's bed.

I hopped up, turned around once before laying down.
Rusty rolled over.

Nic and I panicked slightly.
Was she awake?!

I felt her hand pet my head.
I leaned into her touch.

"Youre Nyx, Nicole's wolf?"
I nodded, Nic must have told her already.

She wrapped her arm around me and snuggled up close.

I licked her cheek before resting my head on the pillow.

I closed my eyes, just as I was about to fall asleep I heard.
"I love you guys."

I know this chapter was really short but i wanted Rusty to see/meet Nicole's wolf. But dont worry, the next chapter will definitely be longer
