Chapter 4

I woke up suddenly and felt a damp cloth on my forehead

"Elsa your awake", my mum smiled

I looked at her confused

"Who brought me home?"

My mum furrowed her brow, obviously trying hard to recall the incident

"I'm sorry Elsa I just can't remember. But he had snow white hair, a muscular build and he was tall"

I sat up, bolt right in my bed. In an instant I knew who it was.......JACK FROST
I felt something around my neck, it was warm and fuzzy. I took it off and saw it was a scarf. Was it ours? It couldn't be. We couldn't afford to buy things this good of quality. It suddenly hit me like a man standing in the Artic with his trousers down.......... it was his scarf! I slowly dragged myself out of bed and put Jack's scarf in a spare bag. It was time for school!

I walked in the school gates and immediately headed up to the roof of the building. I knew that was Jack's hangout space, and that he always went there to clear his head. I finally reached the top and found Jack sitting on the floor

"Hey"

Jack looked up at me and smiled

"Hey"

His face suddenly brightened as if he'd just remembered something

"They won't tell anyone"

I looked at him blankly

"Excuse me?"

He ran a hand through his hair

" the guys"

I suddenly remembered. Flynn and the group tried to hurt me yesterday. I looked at Jack

"Did you do anything to them"

He just shrugged his shoulders

"I just told them not to spread it round to much, since its my secret entertainment"

I felt my face becoming flushed. What a jerk!

"So your having fun with this?"

He turned to me and smirked

"I mean you'd get pissed if I told you I was actually worried, right?"

I let out a gasp. Not good that one really hit my target zone. Then he started

"Well personally I think it'll be ok even if the school finds out about it"

Wow I'm gonna kill someone today. I took big burley steps towards him. But he hadn't finished

"Having a part time job isn't forbidden or anything just because your dressed like a maid. The fact that your strong, smart and never hesitate to make an effort won't change. I think you can be proud of it"

Wow this guy really pisses me off! That's it I have to say it!

"I actually spent the whole day yesterday thinking about why you piss me off so much"

He looked at me, his facial expression full of confusion

"Didn't I just say something really kind?"

I signed. I'm gonna have to explain to him. Wouldn't hurt to tell, would it? I slowly began

"It's like, when I'm running with all my might your jogging relaxed a few yards ahead of me. And then you start running backwards, right in my face and say things to me every once in a while. Like are you ok? I'm really competitive so that really made me mad, but I was saved this time thanks to you being ahead of me. Just watch I'll pass you soon and when that happens I'll be the one to worry about you"

I grinned at him, and he just stared cooly at me. The wind blowing his perfect hair into his eyes. It suddenly came to me. The whole reason I came up here. I held the bag out to him

"Your scarf. Thanks for saving me yesterday and for other things like that. I'm not usually indebted to anyone so I couldn't think of anything else to do but this. Maybe you could think of something for me to do"

A slow smirk started to form at his lips. He rested his head in his hands

"Will you be my personal maid for the day?"

I can't believe this guy?!

Hey guys how'd you like this chapter? Have you ever thought Jack's personality was really sassy? I've always thought that personally.
