"But look MJ, it says 3 days and 9 hours. It had changed when I woke up this morning. It HAD said 6 years..." Dongmin said to Myungjun, his best friend since second grade.
"But isn't that an amazing thing, just think, you get to meet your soulmate in 3 days. I mean, my timer still says 4 years." MJ added, trying to cheer up Dongmin who seemed to be very anxious.
"But what if they don't like me. You know, that happens sometimes. What if they are a horrible person, someone I just couldn't live the rest of my life with."
"Listen Dongmin, that rarely happens. The imprints aren't mistakes, they make the best decisions for you. You're born with them. It's meant to be." MJ continued to comfort Dongmin.
Dongmin glanced nervously down to his wrist where the timer was imprinted in his skin.
"Yeah, I guess so... but I just wonder who it could be and... wait..." Dongmin trailed off, staring off into space.
"Well, wait what?" MJ inquired impatiently, cocking his head sideways curiously.
"I... in three days, we have our auditions. MJ, you don't think..." Dongmin trailed off again, noticing that MJ was piecing the information together too.
"Your soulmate will be at auditions. And you will meet them there. They must be auditioning too. Which means they might possibly be put in your group if you both make it. But that also means..."
"that they will be a... guy?" Dongmin picked up, seeing where MJ was going.
"I... I've never thought about a guy being my soulmate. Most couples are usually male and female." Dongmin stated.
"Well what are you gonna do?" MJ asked curiously.
"I don't know, I guess I'll just have to see who it is..."
