Chapter two

The day was over and autumn knew it. She didn't want it to ever end but she couldn't do anything about it. She decided to go to bed even though it was only 7:45. She was exhausted. Before she knew it, it was morning. Her Melanie Martinez alarm was going off. She thought she was going to be late. But she made it just in time. She was wearing a worn out pink hoodie from Michigan and some bell bottomed jeans. She didn't really care what she looked like today. Mathew saw her and approached her. Autumn didn't know how he would feel about what she looked like. She thought that she wouldn't care but as soon as she saw him she wasn't sure. To her surprise Mathew told her that she was beautiful. Autumn felt so good inside and it made the rest of her day better even though she had a math test. After school autumn went to Mathews house. They played halo for a good 3 hours. They were having so much fun until autumn got a call from her mom saying that she had to come home immediately. Autumn was scared. She didn't know what was happening. As soon as she saw her sister bawling she knew something was wrong. What's wrong? asked autumn. Her mom with trembling face explained that their dad got in a car accident. He didn't make it. Autumn slowly feel to here knees feeling the storm of tears about to burst out. She didn't know what the rest of her life would be like without her father. Autumn went up to her room. That's when all of her sadness just came out. She could not get her self together. She just Laid there crying. She texted Mathew that she wasn't going to be at school for the rest of the week. He asked why but she wouldn't tell him.
