Autumn went to Mathews house before school. Then they walked to school together. Once they got there they noticed everyone was ignoring them. Autumn was getting worried (she worried a lot) Mathew tried to comfort her but he couldn't. They walked through the halls to get to their class. It was really awkward. They eventually reached their room. As they walked in everyone was staring at them. Mathew put his arm around her and walked her to her seat. The captain of the football team was giggling. Autumn knew that he was laughing at her. She just put her head down because she didn't want people to see the shame that was on her face. After class Mathew came and talked to autumn. He told her that it didn't matter what he was laughing at. Even if he was laughing at us, it didn't matter. She didn't really feel much better. She knew that something was going on that she didn't know. Maybe they knew that her dad died. She hoped that that wasn't the case but she couldn't think of anything thing else that they would be giggling about. She thought Mathew was acting stupid for not caring. How didn't he care? Something personal could have slipped out to the whole school! Mathew didn't care. Autumn was so furious. She just wanted to lay on her bed and just think. But she knew that if she thought about things to much she will probably be in tears.
