Nothing has been the same with autumns mom since the death of her dad. First she was just making her do extra chores and do more work. But recently she's been saying hurtful things about her like that she's stupid, ugly, fat, slut... it hurts but she learned to deal with it. I guess you could say that autumn had it good compared to what happened next.
Autumns mom went to a bar (like always) to cope with her depression. But she had to much. She was drunk. When she came home she was crazy. She was throwing and smashing stuff like glass vases. All of a sudden autumn saw her moms fist fly at her stomach. It hit hard. She couldn't breathe. Autumns sister was hiding behind the couch. She didn't know what to do. Autumn curled up on the ground wrapping her stomach. Soon their mom left to go pass out in her bed. Autumns sister ran out by autumn to check on her. She didn't think that there was any major damage but they were both scared. They were scared for what the future is going to bring because they knew that this wasn't going to be the last time this happens.
