Chapter 8

It's been four weeks and three days since I've been training the Blue Moon Pack. For starters they have become very stronger than before. The guys would turn up early to training and everything is going smoothly than I predicted.

On the other hand, Raphael is keeping his distance. I haven't seen him since the day my attack happened.

Ever since the day he witnessed that, I still can never forget what was showing in his eyes.

Love and sympathy. Those two things flash before me, and with that I couldn't even bare it anymore. I wanted to punch and scream at him for being such a confusing dickhead.

Whenever I see him or his near, I can't help but feel my inside tingling with emotions that I have buried for over the years. It's like in flick he could destroy all the walls of bricks that I've been building around my heart.

That secures me from feeling these emotions. That makes me feel things that are unexplainable, that can't be touch by anyone but him.

I was dragged out by my thoughts when I heard a firm knock on my office door.

"Come in" I said calmly while closing my lap top down. I was shocked to see who it was, "Derek" I said with a questioning look.

He clearly looked like he just got back from work. He was wearing a white button up shirt that was tucked in neatly with a bluish blackish suit jacket and pants that fitted him perfectly. A genuine smile plastered on his face while he held a boutique of roses.

"Oh shit, you don't like flowers" He says with a frown "Damn I should've just bought chocolates" He mumbled before facing palming his face with his left hand.

"I'll just leave to save myself from the embarrassment" Aw he's so cute when he's flustered.

"Are you done yet?" I asked while smiling. He looked at me weirdly before I pushed myself up from my chair and walked towards him.

"I'm sorry what?" He says lightly "Thank you" I smiled while reaching over to grab them. I took a quick sniff "They smell so good" I looked at how neatly they were presented.

"Thank god, you like them' I was seriously gonna have a heart attack" he says as he breathed out.

I giggled "You didn't even let me talk Derek" I said back.

"Girl even a blind person can see that you lying! You don't like flowers" Snow reminds me.

"Shut up."

"Because you didn't say a thing' so I automatically thought so" he declared with a grin.

"I'm sorry I took so long, you just caught me unexpectedly" I confessed.

"These need to be put in a vase" I ushered him to follow me downstairs to the kitchen.

I got a vase out and turned on the tapped filling it with water "Uh I went to your pack house, thinking that you lived there. But well Zeon was nice enough to show me where you actually live" He says.

I quickly turned off the tap and placed the vase carefully on the marble island before adding the roses in.

"Yeah, I rather have a small house' since its just me, mom and Zeon but he usually stays at the pack house" I said breezily while smiling at him.

"Hmm That's different" he muttered "But good different" he added before stalking his way towards my baby photos.

"You're so adorable, and you still are" he cheekily said with a smirk.

I couldn't help but smile back like an idiot.

"Girl your vagina is running away, make sure it stays in your pants" Snow says.

Control your hormones. Mutual feelings. Keep it professional.

"I just didn't come here to give you flowers Acacia" he's says cheerfully "You see, I was wondering if you were available Friday night?" He asked while looking directly at me.

"Friday? What for?" I questioned while he chuckled "Just say yes" he says before walking up to me.

We were approximately so close that are noses nearly touched.

"Because that single word. Will make me the happiest man on earth" He whispered softly while caressing my cheek.

I playfully nudged him away, "Yeah sure" I responded with a chuckle.

"Stop being so cheesy" I added while he laughed.

"Well then Miss Vin, I'll pick you up no later than eight" He says calmly.

I grabbed his arm and dragged him towards the door "Yes Mr. Collins" I replied back.

I was about to close the door "Oh wait I forgot one thing" He says quickly before leaning forward to give me a long kiss on the cheek "I'll save the rest for Friday Night" he said with wink before leaving.

I couldn't help but feel my both of cheeks burning, but the particular one that burned even more was the one he kissed.

I shut the door and screamed internally.

I slowly made my way back to the kitchen to put on the kettle for some tea. I went over to the vase once more and looked at it before smiling again.

No one has ever given me roses. No one but my Dad. You see whenever it was my birthday, it seemed as if it was a tradition for him to always at least give me a rose. So whenever I see a rose it reminds me of him, reminds me of the good Ol memories I had with him.

"I don't like him" Snow says

"So? Whatever your opinion is doesn't count "

"He's not our Mate Acacia, whether you like or not. He will not fulfil that missing part we have for Raph" she stated.

Before I could answer back, I felt my front door completely opened harshly.

I saw Zeon dripping in complete sweat with blood stains all over his shirt.

"Zeon! Are you okay?!" I exclaimed before rushing over to him.

"Acacia. I'm fine the pack was under attack, there was so much blood" He said.

"I ran all the way here to see if you were okay!" He tugged me into a tight embrace.

"Will talk later, the pack needs our help now" I says as I pull back, while we ushered over to the vehicle.

Whoever decided to attack my pack will regret it big time. I will have their heads on a stick.
