Slowly, she pulled the other experimenting glasses on and looked up, not at me though. Around the class, other people. Anything but me. I groaned and banged the table. I was impatient. Why wasn't she looking at me? She jumped and looked at me, and that's when I saw it. Her eyes.

They were glowing blue.

--------------------------------------------------

I was speechless. Absolute speechless. Yesterday I saw the boy with those glowing eyes and now, it's her. Is it just me because I actually think I'm seeing things.

The fact is that the same emotion was in her eyes and the little boys. At some point, sometime in my lost thoughts, I thought if they could possibly... be the same people.

"Miss, can I go to the toilet, please?" She said, quickly looking away again as she raised her hand.

Mrs Wilson shook her head "No, you can't. You're just going to have to get on with your work because your group is behind, by a lot." I heard her groan, walking out of class and slamming the door shut. Mrs Wilson clenched her fists for a second "Amanda, you get back here!" she said, storming towards the door. A few seconds later she came back in "That girl" The teacher muttered, walking towards her desk. I slowly got up from my seat and snook towards the door. I gradually turned the door nob-

"Katian! You get back here right now!" Mrs Wilson exclaimed, giving me the 'stern' look. I smirked and walked out, the door closing behind me. Luckily she didn't come after me, not like she cared anyway. I looked down both sides of the hallways and saw a little figure turning left on the right side of the hallway. I groaned and began running after her. Of course, it was Amanda.

"Amanda! Wait!" I shouted across the corridor running after her.

After 5 minutes of chasing her, I had lost her. I stood there, my hands on my knees as I caught up my breath. I looked in front of me to see the library.

Slowly walking in, still breathing every so loudly, I looked around to see a bunch of students with a teacher explaining some things to them. It was a book. Okay whatever, so I began walking around the library down the isles of books, searching the place for Amanda.

I couldn't find her, honestly. There was just a bunch of nerds reading and writing or on a computer but no one else. I sighed, making my way out the library but heard a big bang.

I turned around to see a bookshelf flat on the floor with someone covering there face behind it. It was Amanda, and that's when we caught each other's gazes. Those eyes were all I thought about.

Before the teacher could even walk up to Amanda, she ran out rapid fast, and I mean rapid fast. I quickly ran after her. I couldn't lose her this time. She turned left, so did I. She turned right, so did I. She ran into a classroom and came out, so did I. She approached a dead end and.. so did I.

She turned around, her eyes narrowed and her arms folded. "Okay, you win. What do you want?" I stood there, for a few seconds, not sure what to say. What did I even want?

"Oh, well. Eh." I scratched the back of my head, moving my foot around. This is awkward, I didn't like it.

"Okay, well you can go search 'eh' up in a dictionary, just leave me alone." she said, making her way down the hallway.

"Wait" I mumbled, still facing the plain wall.

"What?" she said. This didn't seem like the Amanda I knew. The Amanda who always ran after me every science lesson, the Amanda who used to giggle when she saw me, the Amanda who had a major crush on me for a long long time, this wasn't the Amanda who basically seduces me with her eyes, and this wasn't the Amanda who made me go blank in words when I saw her, no, I'm Katian, I don't do that. This wasn't Amanda, I knew it. But I had no proof, and what if it wasn't true? I couldn't make things up. I would be a fool if I actually thought that this was not the real Amanda.
