"Shiloh! Chill out, it's only a fish! Hahaha!" He looked at me, biting the inside of his cheek. I paused for a second looking at him "What-" before I could even respond, Shiloh pushed me into the lake. I lifted my head up, catching my breath. The water wasn't even deep, it just about reached my knees. I looked at him and saw a smile on his face. I saw it.

Shiloh finally smiled.

Mum came over to the both of us, her hands on her hips. "And what exactly is this?"

I smiled, jumping out of the water. "Nothing, mum. Just wanted a little shower" I said, stuffing my hands in my pockets. She narrowed her eyes, looking over at Shiloh.

"Did you throw your big brother into the water? Apologise now," she said. Shiloh shrugged.

"Sorry Katian," he said, a smirk on the side of his right lips. I smiled, nodding slightly at him.

"Now me." mum said. Shiloh raised his eyebrow.

"Pardon?"

"You know that when you do something wrong you apologise to whoever you did it too and then apologise to me, promising you won't do it again." Shiloh shrugged, again.

"Sorry." My mum shook her head.

"No no, sorry mother for messing around, I promise not to do so again. Say it like that." Shiloh bit his lip. He was getting annoyed, I could tell but it looked more like upset than annoyed.

"Sorry for messing around, I promise not to do so again." he looked up at my mum and she shook her head again.

"You didn't say mother," She said, sighing. "Say it again."

Shiloh looked away, biting his cupid on his thumb. "No." he mumbled. My eyes widened for a split second, but then I realised why. Mum impatiently tapped her foot on the grass.

"Last chance. Or no marshmallows tonight, young man." I sighed, taking mums hand and leading her away.

"Mum, he's in a bad mood, leave him for now," I said. She sighed.

"Alright fine. But tell him to sort his behaviour on how he talks to me. I and your father are putting up the tents and we'll be done in a while. Make sure you and Danny are back here before 8 o'clock, okay?" I nodded, seeing her walk away. I looked back, slowly making me way over to Shiloh. I paused as I realised he wasn't there anymore. I bit my lip, slowly walking around the place to find him.

"For Christ sake," I mumbled, catching up my breath as I leant my head back on a tree log "Where is he." My mind wondered as I looked around. It had been at least 10 minutes of walking around shouting his name but I couldn't find him. There was thunder, Hailstorm. It was cold, freezing. I glanced over at the trees around me, and that's when I saw him, cuddled up against a log, his arms wrapped around his knees and faint crying noises. I bit my lip and slowly walked over to him, sitting next to him. I tapped his shoulder, and he jumped, looking up. His eyes were red from crying and his knees were soaked with tears. "Shilly.." I said. He wiped his tears.

"Stop following me," Shiloh got up and walked away, but I got up after him.

"Do you know how long I have been looking for you? And you think I'm just going to listen to you and walk off? I know why you're upset, just talk to me about it." I said. He glared at me.

"It's only a matter of one day. Tomorrow you will forget who I am and never knew I existed. I'll be a whole new person, someone who you don't know and never will. And ill make sure to stay away from people like you. The ones who care about others, run after them, act as if they will always be there for them but deep down, they're nothing. It's nothing to them. The next day someone will come and be like 'Where's so and so?' And you will be like 'Who is that?' that's who you are, and that's you you will always be! Now leave me alone, okay?! Only one day, and I'll be gone, Katian. Now go, Just...leave!" He said tears streaming down both his cheeks.

I walked forward towards him but he stepped back. "I-.. I said no Katian, okay?! My mother used to always say to me she loved me, she would stay with me forever, she said I would have a sister, a brother, a family. But she left, and... I lied, okay!? I have no friends, I go to a private school and focus on my studies. No friends, just future, because I know that all friends will do is leave! And you, you're just trying to walk into my life.. but no! It won't work.. it won't..." Shiloh covered his face with his hands, unable to hold his tears back. I shook my head.

"Shiloh.." I whispered, walking up to him. I wrapped my arms around him but he pushed me away.

"I said.. no.." he said, weak in words. He trembled onto the wet grass, his knees now soaked by mud. I shook my head, kneeling down next to him wrapping my arms around the small figure. He gripped onto my shirt, crying on my shoulder ever so much,

Now I knew why he was broke. He was nothing. He had nothing, no one. He was lonely. And that's when I promised to myself that I.. Katian..would make him something.

"Let me help you with that," I said to Shiloh, taking the marshmallow stick off him and frying it above the fire. His gaze didn't turn towards me, he just stared at the marshmallow on the stick blankly. Maybe I didn't know how he felt right now but there was always time to find out.

"Boys, come on, off to bed now," mother said as she clicked her right finger, telling us to scurry along. I nodded, jumping up off m bottom and taking Shiloh's wrist pulling him up with me. He pulled his wrist out of my grip and walked to the tent. He was very stubborn, but ill change that too, sooner or later. I followed after him, my parents looking confused at the pair of us, but I shrugged it off.

I walked into our tent and jumped into the big sleeping bag, Shiloh stood there blankly, staring at the sleeping bag. "Do we have to share?" he said, with no expression whatsoever. I nodded

"Yeh. Ill sleep outside if you wa-"

"No, it's alright." he walked over to the sleeping bag, picked up his pillow and laid down, snuggling the pillow. I sat up and stared at him for a second, blinking. Shrugging it off, I pulled the covers over me and turned the other way, trying to sleep.

"Katian." I could hear Shiloh whisper but I was too tired to reply. I heard shuffling in the blanket and then felt a small hand wrap around my waist slowly. I smiled.

"If you needed someone to cuddle, you could have just said so" I mumbled, half asleep. Turning around I wrapped my arms around him, falling asleep instantly.
