I looked up at my brother, my eyebrows furrowed in frustration yet confusion. "Why are you laughing like that, Daniel? I swear if you don't stop I will wack your face"

Daniel began to laugh harder than before tumbling onto the ground. After being stood there for at least a good solid two minutes of seeing my brother laughing, he sat up. That's when I saw it, bright and clear, those eyes, again, right now, on my brother, and they were just as attractive as the last time.

"You're not my brother, are you?" I said straight up, narrowing my eyebrows ignoring the fact that he had just been laughing for a solid while at me.

"Of course I'm your brother, who else would I be?" His words were casual yet I could see that he was acting. He was always acting. I shook my head.

"Your eyes, Danny, explain." He bit his lip for a second and looked around the room then back in his lap and then, back up at me.

"They're contact lenses"

"Oh really?"

"Yes, really."

"Wanna bet?"

"..sure."

I grabbed my little brother so he was sitting up straight on the floor, fisting his shirt looking at him "If these are not contact lenses, I get to punch you real hard" he flinched at my words.

"Fine." I was amused because, why would he let me punch him if he knows I'll find out? I pushed him back so his head was leaning on the mattress and started poking at his eyeballs trying to take out the contact lenses. There was nothing there.

"Liar," I mumbled, glaring at him. He glared straight back.

"I'd rather be a liar than tell you." He said in a muffled voice, standing up. I quickly grabbed his arm, pulling him down again.

"You have to tell me"

"No, I don't."

"If you don't tell me you'll regret"

"Oh yeah?" Daniel grinned at my sentence "I'd like to see you try"

I've had enough of this kid already.

"Ah! Okay, stop! I'll tell you! On one condition-" he muffled through the pillows which I had dug his head into, twisting his arm behind him. I loosened my grip.

"What condition?" I said. He lifted his head up, catching his breath.

"Give me that letter that was in the bottle" I let go of him.

"How do you know about the letter?" I said, even though I practically had a sense why he knew about the letter. He squeezed his eyes shut.

"Bring me the letter and I'll tell you." He said. I nodded, running to my room and grabbing the bottle which was underneath my bed. I walked back into my little brother's room and handed him the letter.

"It's all yours. I haven't opened it since I picked it up from the sea so, yeah. I was waiting to give it to the little boy, but- never mind."

He looked away, taking the bottle in his right hand and slowly taking off the cap off with his left. He took out the letter and slowly pulled off the ribbon, I could see a faint smile on his lips while he was doing so.

He read the letter, holding onto it tightly. I saw him, he was about to cry, his mouth was on the urge of trembling, but he didn't.

"Daniel-"

"It's not Daniel. I'm not Daniel." He took a deep breath and bit his lip. "About two weeks ago I was going on a trip to France with my classmates and teacher. While we were in the coach, there was a crash. Everyone was fine but since I was sat near the window where the other car had hit, I got injured pretty bad. Right now I'm in a coma. Every single day I'm trapped in someone's body. It could be an old woman, a little kid or a young boy. Anyone. I don't know whether this will stop, but it's happening and I don't think it will stop. Whenever I'm in someone's body, my eyes glow blue." Daniel, well it wasn't exactly Daniel, got up and walked out of the room, heading his way downstairs. I was sat there, lost with words. He couldn't possibly be lying. He wasn't lying, I believed every single word of his.
