Arranged Marriage with Kai

JiYun's POV
Dahyun: what if he falls in love with me?
JiYun: um could you say something that makes sense? He married me for a reason!
Dahyun: he used to like me and his feelings for me can come back
Kai: hello ladies and wifey
Dahyun: Kai didn't you have feelings for me in the past?
Kai: like you said... in the past! But it's the present now and I have an amazing wife right next to me so I don't need anybody else
Hyori: I see you already forgot your promise with Dahyun
Kai: yes I did because she broke it first and also I don't want to talk to you two anymore because it's destroying the atmosphere for me and my wife

Then Kai grabbed my hand and pulled me to the elevator with him. I could see it in his expression that he was pissed off and didn't want to talk. As soon as we got back to the room, he made me sit down on the bed with him.

Kai: JiYun I'm sorry you had to go through all these things with all these crazy girls I used to date
JiYun: I mean you were a playboy so... but don't expect me to be so nice because my tolerance level can only be so high
Kai: but you really are the best! I didn't marry the wrong person

Our honeymoon was going to end in two days and us two wanted to enjoy every last moment of the vacation together. We tried our best avoiding Dahyun and Hyori and did most of the things on our honeymoon bucket list. However, on our last day they had to appear right before our very eyes.

Dahyun: hey kai you know I'm sorry about how we acted
Kai: apologize to JiYun not me
Dahyun: sorry
JiYun: it's fine but it's our last day so we would prefer if we could have some alone time
Hyori: oh but don't get too sick of each other haha
Kai: that would never happen

We walked away and I was so happy I didn't need to see him. After we visited a few more places, we were about to walk to the airport but my parents sent me an actual private jet which meant something serious happened. We immediately boarded it and arrived faster than the airplane obviously. When we arrived Kai told me to go home first but I just went to visit Kris at a coffee shop to talk.

Kris: JiYun!!! How was your honeymoon?
JiYun: it was great and all but I don't know why all these girls are just coming out of nowhere
Kris: well I mean your husband has a handsome face
JiYun: I know that but even his first crush came and I met his ex girlfriend once
Kris: I mean that's the kind of guy you like 😂😂😂
JiYun: we just got married but I think our marriage life will be hard
Kris: yeah right... my life is even harder now because mom and dad are pressuring me and chanyeol to get married because of you
JiYun: but you should though hahahaha
Kris: and also don't worry too much I mean if he makes you sad or cry I'll destroy him for you so don't worry
JiYun: I already know

Then I heard a guys voice behind me scream my name.

Chanyeol: JiYun!!!! Why didn't you tell me that you came back already?!?!?! I'm upset
JiYun: I was going to tell you
Chanyeol: but you guys didn't do anything inappropriate right?
JiYun: who do you think I am?!
Chanyeol: but mom is making me go to a blind date tomorrow ugh!!!!
JiYun: have fun and make sure she's nice because I don't want a mean sister in law
Chanyeol: if she bullies you I wouldn't even marry her or date her

Kai's POV
My dad immediately called me to the office. It was the first day on the job! Oh my god! The secretary immediately brought me to my office and told me all the things to do. Obviously he taught me how to do some things and because of my dad teaching me in the past I actually knew how to do the work. I was in the office for hours looking at papers, typing on the computer, and answering calls! Right after vacation I had to do all this work and it was awful!!! My dad came in with a wide grin. 😑😑😑

Dad: I know making you work as soon as possible after your honeymoon was hard on you but our stock have skyrocketed and we are earning millions
Kai: dad I want a day off tomorrow to relax and everything
Dad: yes yes I will give it to you

Then he left the room. I can already see my fate which is being cooped up in this damn office all the time. I don't want to be here all the time but I will try my best to finish so I can see my lovely wife. Or so I thought...
