JiYun's POV
I woke up in a hospital room not remembering anything. All I remembered was me getting into an accident. My parents and brothers were all looking at me and shouted excitedly as my eyes started opening up.

Chanyeol: JiYun!!! Thank goodness your awake!!!!
JiYun: I don't remember anything except you guys and the accident
Kris: just rest and relax
Mom: sleep my child
Dad: Chanyeol will help take over your position for a while
Kris: you had a high position in dad's company and you are a very prestigious person
Mom: yes
Dad: now that I know your ok I will be going back to the company because I've been getting phone calls non stop so chanyeol and Kris come
Mom: I'll stay here
Chanyeol: JiYun I'll be back!!!

My mom went outside to get some water and food for me from a nearby restaurant when I saw a man near my door.

JiYun: excuse me! Would you like to come in?

He was really handsome and tall. Oh my god who is he? When he walked in my head suddenly started hurting and then he started saying my name.

JiYun: what's your name?
Kai: my name is Jongin but you can also call me Kai

He felt like a very familiar person to me that gave me indifferent vibes.

Kai: I was so scared when I heard this accident happened!
JiYun: well it was pretty scary and now I have to stay here for a while
Kai: must be boring...
JiYun: could you tell me more about my life?
Kai: what?
JiYun: it seems like you might know a lot about me
Kai: I think it would be better if your parents told you
JiYun: fine!

Then his phone got a text message and he said he had to go immediately. After he left my mom came into the room and handed me a cup of water.

JiYun: mom there was a guy named Kai who came in just a few seconds ago
Mom: what? What did you say?!
JiYun: a guy named Kai he came in here
Mom: don't ever see that guy again!!!
JiYun: but...why?
Mom: he's someone that can only bring you sadness and despair
JiYun: what do you mean?
Mom: you'll know what I mean soon enough but for now focus on recovering

This man is supposedly dangerous to my mom but it just makes me wonder about many things. I try to recover my memories but nothing just seems to come up. After spending a few weeks in the hospital, I was finally able to leave. However, I couldn't immediately go back to work and my parents decided to just let me stay home but I didn't want to so Kris decided to let me work in his cafe. It has the name Stylish Cafe which is a pretty boring cafe title to me. I work as a cashier/janitor to get my body ready for work. It's pretty fun and relaxing but I haven't seen that Kai guy around. I just started my shift until I finally saw him and this girl! Who is she? I couldn't hear their conversation but they were both smiling and laughing. Why did my heart start hurting? Why am I feeling angry and jealous? Then he walked up to me.

Kai: hello may I have 1 Americano and 1 cappuccino
JiYun: ok! Anything else you might want?
Kai: no that's fine
JiYun: ok your total is 6000 won
Kai: here you go!

As he was about to leave, I called him out.

JiYun: Kai!
Kai: yes? Did you call me?
JiYun: don't you recognize me? We met in the hospital!
Kai: oh right! Why are you working here?
JiYun: it's my brothers cafe so I'm working here for fun
Kai: oh that's nice
JiYun: who's that girl by the way?
Kai: she's just a friend
JiYun: you seem pretty close with her
Kai: well yeah of course! We are friends
JiYun: is she a girl you like?
Kai: no

Why did I feel so relieved from that one word response?

JiYun: she seems like she likes you
Kai: yeah she does... she confessed to me today
JiYun: oh my god really?! So are you guys dating now?
Kai: well I don't think there's a reason to tell you... I mean we aren't even friends... after all we only met once so let's not see each other anymore
JiYun: why are you acting so mean?

He just walked away without looking back and took his drinks and was about to leave until I called his name.

JiYun: is she your girlfriend?
Kai: ... she... is... so good bye

Why did I suddenly burst into tears? I quickly ran to the back of the cafe and started crying nonstop like a baby. Why? Then Kris came in and was so surprised by what happened. He brought me out to a table and made me talk.

Kris: I heard that Kai jerkface came here
JiYun: yeah he did
Kris: he did it once already and now he's doing it again...
JiYun: can you please explain to me? What's going on?
Kris: you really want to know?
JiYun: yes please!
Kris: well you two used to be lovers
JiYun: no wonder I felt that connection when I saw him
Kris: you guys got married but he was caught cheating
JiYun: what?
Kris: I'll stop there but do you now know why mom said to stay away from him?
JiYun: where does he live?
Kris: he still lives in your married home

I left the cafe and went immediately to the house. The lights were on and I started banging on the door.

JiYun: OPEN THE DOOR!!!
Kai: what happened? Why are you here?

I stormed right in and took a seat on the couch.

JiYun: you really are a rotten person
Kai: what are you doing?
JiYun: how could you get over me so quickly? Did you never love me?
Kai: I did but now I don't... maybe after we got married you just didn't seem as appealing to me
JiYun: you b******!!!!
Kai: just go! I have a guest coming over
JiYun: is it that girl?

Then I heard the door bell ring, I opened the door and saw a different girl than the one from the cafe.

Hyori: JiYun it's been a while
JiYun: who are you?
Hyori: let's go in and talk

Too many things were going on in my head and I didn't know what to do anymore except to find out the truth. What I will do after that is something I will figure out later on
