CHAPTER 2 - A "Better" day -

After I'm out of the office, finally, Sally comes running up to me.

"Guess what, I got a note from FRANCIS!" (I can see where this is coming from.)

Then she adds, "I also aced that test, turns out it was on Grammar!"

(Good for you! I probably would've failed anyway.)

"So what did the note say?" I asked.

(I am very worried)

"Well," Sally started off, "it said, I like you, will you go out with me? And I told him yes!"

"Oh, ok." I reply. (#droopy#heart)

Then, here comes Jackson. He's funny, smart, and lots of others, but he is JUST a FRIEND.

"Hey," he says. Did I mention that he's shy? Well, he is. "Whatcha doin?" He asks. He doesn't say much when he talks. However, I did reply with a simple, "Nothing much."

"I heard you were sent to the office, so what happened?"

(Wow, that was the longest sentence he has said in a while. He doesn't have to bring it back up though.)

"Yah, I don't want to talk about it."

"Sorry, uh--I didn't mean to offend you."

"None taken."

(Talk about two AWESOME friends that care about you! Boy, is I lucky to have them. I know...incorrect grammar, but like I said, I'm not good at it anyways.)

It is awkwardly silent, until Jackson speaks up. (Shocking he'd be the first one!)

"So, do you like my Cubes of Rubik?" He says, jokingly. (He is kinda funny, so I guess I should just play along.)

"Isn't it a Rubik's of Cube?" :-)

Sally then cries out, "Um, does anyone know that I'm NOT invisible?!"

(Apparently we forgot about her...) then she says, "Won't you two just stop flirting?!"

I laugh as if it was meant as a joke, because it should've been! (He is my friend, so I stop "flirting" with him. I don't want the wrong idea out of it. More like the gossip in the school.)

I say goodbye to Jackson and Sally and I head off to my locker. (What do ya know, here comes Francis.)

"Hey, Francis."

"Oh...sup." (not many words to me anymore, because he thinks I'm not hot anymore. Then again...he -- never really talked to me---or even said I was hot....) As I was in my own little world; it hit me! (Not literally though.)
