I wake up and rub my eyes.

I'm lying on a park bench. I must have fallen asleep.

I walk down to the Motel and let myself in and sign out.

Should I leave?

Yeah.

I run down to the bus stop and get on one.

I pay the driver and lie down on a seat and plug in my headphones.

I wake to the bus jolting and I sit upright.

I jump out of the bus and wave to the driver.

As he drives away I shiver in the cold.

I walk down the street in the dark.

I look at my watch.

9:30

Great. Just great.

I look over my shoulder.

I continue walking down the street warily and turn in at a park.

I sit down on a bench and reach into my pocket.

I pull out my money, anxiously.

5,10,15,20....

Shit.

I continue through the park until I see a gang smoking against a tree.

Crap.

I speed up my walking, hoping to get past.

No Luck.

The girl walks up to me.

"Well, well what do we have here?"

She sneers and lunges at me.

I take off running.

"Hey You!" She shouts and her gang start to chase me.

I run and run.

I reach the end of the park, still not sure if they are still pursuing me and run down the street.

When I get to the end of the street and pause and the black spots start to take over my vision.

Terrified, I fumble at my bag for my inhaler but it's no use.

And I black out.
