Katy's POV I woke up at 5:30am.. TOO EARLY! I needed time to rehearse and get ready for boot camp. I had met up with Liam last week and he has been put into a group with some boys called Harry, Zayn, Niall and Louis (their band is called One Direction). Anyway... I once again got in the shower, washed my hair, blow dried it and I then straightened it. My hair was ombré and it was really thick! I slipped into some black leggings and a burgundy crop top. I then put on my black vans and a denim jacket..

Liam wanted to introduce me to his bandmates so we agreed to meet at Starbucks at 11am. At 10:45 my mom dropped me off at Starbucks and told me to call her before boot camp.. I walked in and I saw Liam, Harry, Zayn, Niall and Louis. Liam ran and gave me a big, bear hug. "Hello, nice to meet you" I smiled. "Hi, I'm Niall!" "Harry" "Zayn" "I'm Louis" Is it just me or is Louis very handsome? Shut up Katy.. You are in a competition, not crushing on strangers!
Louis' POV "I'm Louis" I said.. Liam had just introduced us to someone he met at auditions. She was beautiful.. Liam told me Katy had an amazing voice and she has a good chance of winning! She definitely looked like a pop star and she was extremely beautiful.. have I said that already? Katy had went to get a drink so I followed her and gently grabbed her by the wrist. "Can I help you?" She giggled. "What do you want?" I asked smiling. "I want you to sit down so I get get my drink and join you!" She joked. "No can do! I am getting you a drink" I said. "No you're not." "Am" "Not" "Am" "Not" "Am" "Fine.. please can I just have a bottle of water, but I owe you!" "Okie Dokie!" Oh.. my.. God.. did I just say 'okie dokie'? I need to think about what I'm saying before I actually say it!
Katy's POV Louis was sweet.. He had just bought me a drink and we were now sat back at the table. "So... Are you nervous for boot camp?" asked Liam. "I guess.. I've waited for so long and I'm finally following my dream! How about you?" I said. "Yeah.. it's quite nerve wracking!" Liam replied and all the boys nodded their heads in agreement. "When did you realise you wanted to become a musician?" Zayn asked. "When I was younger, I used to sing and dance none stop and I just loved it! A few years back my friend and I went to a concert and I just thought.. I want that to be me!" I stated. "Any siblings?" Harry asked.. "Wow you guys ask a lot of questions! Siblings? Quite random but I have a brother and a sis-" I stopped talking and bit my bottom lip to hold back my tears.. "Are you okay?" Louis asked, concern filling his face. "I'm fine honestly.. it's just" I again paused. "You can tell us, most of us are nice enough guys" Louis joked. "Well.. my sister. A few months ago, she was diagnosed with terminal cancer and she doesn't have long to live.. that's why I'm doing this competition because she wanted to know I was living my dream before she...goes." A tear rolled down my cheek and I quickly wiped it away, hoping the boys didn't notice. Louis obviously did and he took my hand from underneath the table and squeezed it.
Louis POV I was almost in tears listening to her story.. It felt like I had known Katy forever and she was a really close friend of mine. I could tell she was going to be one of my best friends..
