Okay... wow! This is the moment I have been waiting for my whole life. Today is the day I audition for the xfactor. I woke up nice and early and had a nice long shower. Once I got out, I blowdried my hair and put it in a messy half updo (see cover photo). I then applied foundation, mascara, eyeshadow and all that jazz.. it was time to get dressed. I slipped on some black adidas leggings and a ripped jumper on. I paired my outfit with some black boots.

I had just arrived at the place where the auditions were being held.. I was with pretty much my entire family and to be fair, that made it a whole lot more nerve wracking! Backstage I met this lovely boy called Liam Payne. He said he had got to judges houses when he was fourteen but Simon told him to come back when he was a bit older so he did.. He was also very nervous. We exchanged phone numbers so we could maybe meet up. It turns out we had met before at a West Brom football match (A/N yes I support the Albion)! After a few, long, scary hours Liam was called up on stage.. He had an amazing voice! How was I meant to beat that? He had got 4 yes' and now, it was my turn.. •• I walked out onto the stage shaking nervously. "Hello, what is your name?" Said Simon. "Hi.. my n-name is Katy." I replied nervously. "What will you be singing today?" "Valerie by Amy Winehouse" "Okay good luck!" I started to sing...
'Well.. Sometimes I go out by myself and I look across the water. And I think of all the things what your doing and in my head I paint a picture! Cause since I've come on home, well my body's been a mess.. and I've missed your ginger hair and the way you like to dress. Won't you come on over, stop making a fool out of me! Why don't you come on over Valerie..'
And on that note, I finished.. Everyone had stood up-EVEN SIMON! I smiled in delight. "Wow.. you really have talent!" Cheryl said astonished. "Thankyou!" And with that, "Yes" "100% yes" "A big fat yes" "YES" IM THROUGH! IM THROUGH TO THE NEXT ROUND!! I ran backstage and gave Liam a huge hug.. "Well done" he smiled.. "you too!" We said our goodbyes and set off home.
