(L/N) means Last Name

Chapter Two: Family Reunion.

Stan looked at the girl, his face in awe. The same girl he had cared for like his own child.

Seeing they weren't making any progress by just staring, (Y/N) advanced forward, stopping in front of him.

Stanley closed his mouth and gulped. It was he who decided to rupture the blanket of silence. "Where have you been, kid? I thought you died!" He smacked (Y/N) in the side of the head with a rolled up newspaper he was bearing in his right hand.

(Y/N) rubbed the side of her head. "Ow," she scrunched up her face. "I missed you too." She muttered.

"I thought I finally got rid of you too." Stan sighed, unraveling the roll of newspaper.

"It takes a lot more than you to get rid of me."

"I know, that's the problem." Stan chuckled lowly. "So what brings you back? After all this time?"

"Ah, well it's my last year before my senior year, and I thought I had spent enough time away. I wanted to know what changed, what I've been missing out on."

"Well, you haven't missed much, kid. Gravity Falls is still Gravity Falls that you remember."

A brunette strutted his way into the room, he had his eyes on the vending machine, until his gaze averted towards his old friend. "(Y-Y/N)?" His whispered in shock.

"Dipster!" She chanted, bouncing over to him, engulfing him in a hug.

The boy had grown. That was for sure. He was the same height as (Y/N), and his face had slimmed down a bit from his baby-face. His hair was still short and brushed into a casual mess. His arms were still skinny and his legs like a foal's.

Dipper hesitated, but retuned the hug, squeezing (Y/N) as he buried his face into the shoulder of his long lost friend. "Am I dreaming?" Dipper asked.

(Y/N) retreated, her face still smiling, "No, I'm real, promise." She waved her hands in the air, otherwise known as 'jazz-hands'.

"What are you doing here?" Dipper urged the keep the conversation from getting awkward.

"I thought that it's been too long since I've last seen my second family, so I decided to return home."

"It's good to have you back." He nodded.

"It's good to be-"

"Ahh!" (Y/N) was tackled to the ground, her back hitting the wood floor with a thud. The person who tackled her was jumping on (Y/N)'s stomach, causing her to heave out breaths awkwardly and begging to stop in indecipherable words.

"Can't. Breathe. Mabel. Please."

Dipper had to pry his sister from (Y/N), holding her back with all the energy he could muster. Mabel slipped once from his grip, and that resulted in Dipper having to headlock her the second time.

"Mabel! Calm down!" He warned has (Y/N) tried to regulate her breathing and heart rate. Stan scratched the back of his neck, his eyes wide.

"But it's (Y/N)!" Mabel pleaded for release from Dipper's grasp. "We haven't seen her in years! Lemme hug her!"

"You'd kill her."

"Love hurts, Dippington! Haven't you heard of tough love?"

"That's a whole different thing, Mabel." Dipper sighed.

(Y/N) cleared her throat. "You may release the beast now." She said, almost fearfully.
