Her screams echo through the halls, ripping at my heart and tearing me to shreds. I tried convincing the nurse to let me go in with her, but apparently it's an absolute no.

"Would you like to leave? The cafeteria is on the first floor if you'd like a break." Dr. Boggs says, coming around the corner.

"Absolutely not." I say, crossing my arms. "I am absolutely not leaving." he smiles and walks into the room. The moment he walks in, I lose my self-control and my body breaks down in racking sobs. Her screaming hasn't stopped except for the breaths in between. I feel as though the weight of the world is slowly being lowered on my chest and shoulders, and I slide down the wall to the floor.

It's just becoming unbearable when she finally stops screaming. Lifting my head up, I stare at the door, forcing myself to swallow back my sobs.

After what seems like hours, the door opens and Dr. Boggs walks out. I throw myself through it, but immediately a nurse stops me.

"I'm sorry, you can't go inside." she smiles sweetly and I start struggling to get past her, but four more nurses come and pull me back into the hall. Shoving them away, I walk towards the now closed door.

     "You can't...."

"I'm not!! I scream at her. Her eyes widen and before I can apologize,  she runs away. I lean against the door, wondering what to do.
