I say hi to Gabi after she greets me with A hey because I feel bad for her since in 8th grade we promised to be close in high school but I kinda broke that promise. My bad.
I make my way to the usual table. After scanning the cafeteria looking for Hector, don't ask me why I was looking for him, I don't even know, I look towards my table and my heart falls out of my ass. No joke. Hector is sitting at MY table with MY boyfriend sitting right across from him. Hector is just sitting there staring at me looking amused at my freak out.
Why is he sitting there?? Does he know Ruben?? Does Ruben know about the summer I had with Hector?? Is Hector one of us now?? What the fuck is going on??
I snapped back into reality when I notice Hector smirking at me. Bastard!!
Act cool Karina. After hyperventilating for about a minute or so, I calmly walk over to the table and smile at everyone including Hector. I sit next to Ruben and he kisses me cheek and shoots daggers towards Hector. What the fuck was that about?? But I couldn't help but blush at Ruben's actions. Not only that, but my whole cheek is full of tingles and the spot where Ruebn's lips kissed me is burning with fire. Dam, I must look like a freaking tomato.
