The noise. That repetitive noise. /beep/ The only sound coming from that machine for days on end. /beep/ Lazily, the tired worker tossed a ball of paper into the trash bin across the room. Turning her head to the side, facing her co-worker, she asked, "Anything on the radar?"
"Nope. Everything appears to be normal, as usual."
"Exciting." She replied sarcastically. After swiveling around in her chair a few times, she turned to face the screen. They were currently looking for climates within the solar system capable of sustaining human life. Although... something seemed off about the map. She scrolled her mouse over an area around Jupiter that seemed to be pulsing.
"Has that always been there?"
"No, I don't believe it has... The computers must have just picked it up."
They zoomed in on the red dot, and further analysis showed that it was not in fact on Jupiter.
"Is it.. on a moon?"
"It must be. That's the only explanation."
Picking up a report that had just finished printing, she started for the door.
"We better go tell the boss."
