Chapter 7 - Self Defense

     When Cas finally got out of bed it was 1 o'clock in the afternoon ,but he did have a rough night before hand. He got up and got dressed in his white button up and trench coat. He walked out of the room to see Dean and Sam sitting on the couch watching an old western. "Hey buddy , see you finally decided to join the living? What do you want to eat , feel free to look through the fridge." , Dean gets up and walks over to the fridge to get some food for Cas.

     "Sleep well angel boy? Heard you had a rough night and Dean had to settle you down ,what was that all about?" , Sam was being very nosy for his usual self ,"That's none of your business Sam , now Cas I want to teach you some self defense so we never have a repeat of last night. I'm thinking we start with hand to hand combat then move to gun handling skills...but only if you want to.", Dean looks at the ground shyly not wanting to scare away his best friend.

     Dean ever since the night he had helped Cas stand up he felt different about Cas ,when he touched his hand he could tell he still had feelings for Cas. "Of course, I would love that...of course if it's ok with you?" , "Both of you are gonna make me barf! Dean kick his ass for me , I'll do a supply run and give you two some space." , as Sam collects his jacket and walks toward the door he can practically hear their embarrassment.

       As Dean walks with Cas to the boxing ring that Sam and Dean made , Dean hears a gasp and turns around to see Cas huddled on the ground shaking with tears in his eyes , "Cas ,you ok buddy?" , Dean slowly sits down next to Cas , "Cassie? B-buddy , please tell me what's wrong so I can fix it.". Cas then begins to start sobbing and starts hugging Dean , he buried his face in Dean's shoulder. " Oh buddy , are you scared of fighting me? Sam was just kidding , I could never hurt you. Cas..." , Cas turns to look at Dean with such terror , Dean had never seen such a face.

          Dean picked up the crying Cas and took him to Dean's room, Dean sets Cas on his bed and changes his shirt out into one of Dean's , Cas's was soaked in tears and terror sweat. Dean took his shirt off and sat in bed next to Cas and just held him , Dean just let him cry.
