How am I supposed to start this? I've never written in a diary before and since I'm a guy it feels pretty weird. But, this is what my therapist recommended me, and I'm only doing it for Evan's sake, of course.
Tyler talked to me yesterday. I was in the hospital, getting mental tests done to see if Ive improved on anything. I had just got done with the stressful things when I answered the phone.
He asked how I and Evan were. Then, told me about Craig. Apparently he wants to tell him he loves him or some cheesy shit. But, with all the fuckery out of the way I'm actually really happy for him. Mini and Wildcat go together really well. Anyways, I'm tired and probably won't write in this ever again. Goodnight.

Jonathan closed the journal and sighed, leaning his head down on the desk. It wasn't like his desk back at home, where if he rested his head he'd have enough space to where he could stretch himself out. Here, he was cramped and cornered into a small ball.
He felt lonely. Really lonely. Being trapped inside this place felt like torture. It was like a prison, but the guards pretended like they were helping you when in actuality it just drove him more mad.
"Jon?" Someone asked from the door. He glanced over, expecting a doctor or the nurse to come question him some more, but it was his best friend.
"You have twenty minutes, Mr. Fong." The doctor explained, closing the door behind him as he left.
"Evan?" Jon asked quietly, his head coming out of the desk.
Evan smiled and waved. "Hey, Buddy." He said.
Jon was overcame with happiness as he flung himself out of the wooden seat and ran to his best friend, enveloping him in a warm hug. "I missed you so much." He said, getting a grin from Evan.
"I missed you too, Jonathan." He spoke, quietly and meaningful.
Those words destroyed Jon's heart as he suddenly felt the weight on his shoulders being lifted from his soul. Evan hadn't visited in over a month, considering how much progress he's shone.
Jon pulled away and smiled at his friend. "I have so much more to tell you! You've missed so much!" He exclaimed, taking his friend's hand.
"I know." Evan said, still smiling with his brown eyes illuminating the darkness around them.
Jonathan was overcome with tears of happiness when he explained it all to his best friend. "I got a new doctor, and Tyler came to drop off a teddy bear for me!"
Evan simply smiled, robotic-like and unwary, as if his main purpose was to just stand there and comfort him. "That's nice. It's blue, right?"
Jon nodded and grabbed it from the white sheets of the bed and held it up. It was small, with blue overalls and white fur. He loved it. "See! Isn't it cool?" He asked, hugging it close to him.
"I love it."
Jonathan smiled and started explain everything in the hospital room to him. "And this-" He picked up the journal and held it in front of him. "Is my diary! I have to write in it everyday! It's so annoying." He complained, tossing it back onto the desk.
He giggled madly and wrapped his arms around his friend pulling him close. "I've missed you so much!" He repeated. "They won't let me see you anymore but you're here! You're here!" He exclaimed, clinging to him.
Suddenly, Evan grabbed his arm and the bright smile was lost- along with the chocolate of his eyes. "Wake up!" He yelled. "Jonathan, wake up! He's not here!"
Jonathan's eyes filled with tears as he was overcome with confusion. "E-Evan?" He choked.
He returned to himself, that reassuring smile appearing again. "Jon, I love you." He whispered.
"What..?" He asked, grabbing onto Evan. "No! You can't leave! Don't leave me again, please!" He begged.
Evan's form morphed into the nurse's, who had a tight grip on his arm. "Jonathan, listen to me. Evan isn't here." She said.
Jon burst into tears mad screamed. "He's here! I know he is- he visits me all the time!"
"I know, I know, but you have to listen to me-"
He tried to pull away from her, screaming and kicking all the while giggling. "He's here! He was right there!"
"Jonathan!" The nurse yelled, getting his attention. "Evan died in a car crash six years ago."
