I dream of Mark. There he is tied to a bed trying his hardest to get free, way from what looks to be Antiseptic. I'm standing in the corner, screaming for Mark to see me for Anti to leave him alone. I am forced to watch unwillingly what Anti does to Mark. My Mark, my poor sweet innocent Mark forced to do this. I watch as he passes out and Anti slaps him and leaves the room. Time passes, I don't know how much, minutes? Hours? It couldn't be days... When Dark enters looking madder than Lucifer on Christmas. I feel myself flicker in and out, Dark glances my way and frowns. When his eyes see Mark's state he growls. I watch as Dark tenderly frees Mark and picks him up in his arms, leaving the room. I just stand in the corner still flickering when I'm suddenly in the same room as Mark. I'm still stuck in the corner, I want to leave I scream Mark's name over and over like a chant or a song that's stuck in my head. I see Dark glance uneasily my way kiss Mark on the forehead and leaves the room. I hear him screaming at someone, but I know Mark won't wake up. I'm still screaming his name. Until finally I can't see him anymore.
I wake to Lucifer shaking me. "Angel?" He asks once my eyes open "Mark?" I choked out unable to take this any longer. Mark's been gone for weeks now, the gaping hole in my heart is unbearable at this point. I feel tears stream down my face. "You saw him, didn't you." Lucifer says not a question but a statement. "Are you okay?" He asks concern in his eyes. I nod my head "Yeah, but Mark..." I'm unable to finish it. Lucifer holds me against his chest "Shhh.." is all he says. "You were screaming for him, you know..." I heard Leif say "You were screaming so much that I thought you might actually go to him." I smiled a small one. "I don't have that kind of power, besides I still don't know where he is.." I tell him wiping the final tears from my eyes and sitting up. Leif smiled at me "I'll do you better sweetheart, I'll take you to him." I looked at him astonished that he would go above and beyond what our contract required. I glanced at my left hand and saw his seal on the back of it. I looked at it fondly, "You know what?" I asked him "What's that?" He questioned, "I always liked your seal.." I said standing and stretching. I looked for clothes and found some jeans and a gamer tee of Mark's. I grabbed a bag and packed some clothes for Mark and a set for me. I went to the kitchen with Leif trailing behind me, grabbed protein bars and bottles of water placed them in the bag. I turned on my heel and looked at Leif. "I'm ready to go.." I say looking around to see if I forgot anything. Leif held out his hand to me, "We do have to make a stop before I take you to Mark, because you're going to need some weapons." I smiled and placed my hand in his. "Of course, only you would take me to go weapons shopping." I shook my head as Leif teleported us to Hell.
