Hey guuyyys. Thanks for deciding to give his story a read. I promise you won't be disappointed. Well, I hope you won't be disappointed anyway. No promises, right?

So anyway, I would put the copyright shit here but no one actually reads that. Just don't copy this k, that's just rude.

There will probably be a shit tonne of swearing in this, it's just my personality, sorry guys. But hey, people who swear a lot are proven to have a larger vocabulary than those who don't.

Sorry, I'm blabbing. And I keep apologising, sorry about that, it's  an English thing. Right, I'm gonna shut up and let you read the damn story.

Enjoy!!

"Aaaaallllllll!!!" A voice shouts down the corridor as I walk out of school for the day. A small smile flickers across my face as I recognise the voice as George's- my best friend since primary school. I turn around and George comes bounding up to me.

"Didn't think you were gonna leave without saying goodbye to your handsome best friend, did ya?" He says, pulling me into a tight hug.

"I'm in a rush. See you tomorrow."

"Sure, you want a ride?" He said taking his newly acquired car keys out of his pocket with a grin.

"Nah, I'm good thanks, I need the exercise." I responded and backed away out of the door.

"Hey Ally, wait up." Josh calls as he jogs up to me. I have a hopelessly cringe-worthy crush on him for the past three years. He was your typical high school jock, and by being your stereotypical girl-next-door, I had a hopeless crush on him. Even though I knew that I would never have a chance with him when he can get girls a thousand times prettier than me, I can't get him out of my head.

I was paired with him for a project a few weeks ago and since then we have gotten to know each other better.

"Oh hi," I tried to say in a cool tone, even though my heart is beating rapidly against my chest.

"I was wondering if you want to come to a party that my friend is having Saturday night. I'll text you the address later." He said, sending me his signature smirk that gets the girls swooning all the time.

"Oh ya, sounds good. I don't think I have anything else on." I say even though I know for a fact the only things I will be doing on Saturday night is watching Netflix with Charlie (my cat).

"OK cool. I'll text you later then yeah?" He says before jogging off down the road.

I mentally high-five myself and couldn't stop myself from smiling all the way home. Josh had finally noticed me as someone more than a geek that will do his homework for him.

My house was only 15 minutes away, but even so I was still slightly sticky with sweat when I opened the front door. A welcoming wave of cold air hit me after the merciless heat outside.

"Hey Mum, Dad, I'm home." I say, plopping my bag down beside the stairs and walking to the kitchen. 'Cause food is life, am I right or am I right?

"Hey Als, how was school?" Dad said without lifting his head from the newspaper he was reading.

"Same old. Where's mum?" I said, rummaging in the cupboard for something edible.

"Work, she'll be back soon." He said as I exited the kitchen again with a bag of crisps.

I had just retrieved my bag and was ascending the stairs when Dad called out,

"We have something to tell you later as well."
