I usually don't ask for votes, but I'm gonna do it this time because I worked really hard on this chapter! Also, sorry for the wait! I had surgery so I've been recovering.

The cases that appear in this chapter are the based on the movies (mostly)

Enjoy!

Judy studied the words in her room all night. She even snuck into her parents' room after dinner to find out more about demons, hauntings, and possessions. Lorraine and Ed never spoke with her about their cases and she was okay with that, so sneaking in their room to take the case files was something never expected to be doing.

Rushing back into her room, she opened the big file and a few of papers fell out. Annabelle 1970, Amityville 1974, Harrisville Haunting 1971, The Enfield Poltergiest 1977. She picked up the Annabelle case first. She knew a little about it from when she had a close encounter with her but not the specific details.

Annabelle, Case 1970

Annabelle was purchased by a man who was going to give it to his wife as a gift. She collected dolls and wanted her. One night, another man and woman broke into their house. The guy was shot by the police and the woman committed suicide while holding Annabelle. The doll was possessed and began to haunt them. Eventually, their baby was taken. The mother was about to jump out their apartment window, but her husband and friend convinced her not to.The friend took her spot and when they tried to stop her, it was too late. The baby was given back to them and they were safe. The doll was next found in a shop where a woman bought her to give to her daughter. The doll wanted to get inside her and her friends. The Warrens got involved and they took the house which remains in their home.

Judy shakily puts the paper down and picks up the next one.

Amityville Horror, 1974

On the night of November 13th, 1974, Rob Defeo killed his family members. He claimed that he heard voices in his head telling him to do so in court. He was found guilty of six second degree murders. He was sent to prison with twenty five years to life. Thirteen months later, the Lutz family moved into the house and experienced the following.

The house had several flies, even though it was winter.

The wife, Kathy, experienced many nightmares about the killings.

The children began sleeping on their stomachs, which was the same way the bodies had been found.

The husband, George, would wake up to the front door slamming.

Locks, doors, and windows were damaged by an unknown force.

George saw Kathy turn into an old woman.

On January 14th, 1976, The Lutz's fled their home, leaving all their stuff behind.

Judy didn't know why she kept reading. Instead of stopping, she flipped to the next case.

Harrisville Haunting, 1977

The Perron family moved into a home in 1977. Slowly, they began experiencing weird things. Their dog died unexpectedly, the clocks stopped at 3:07 am every morning, Christine claimed that someone told her they wanted her family dead, Carolyn saw several of her pictures on the wall fall down, Andrea and Cindy saw a demon jump at them, and Carolyn was even pushed down the stairs. They contacted the Warrens who checked out the house and figured out the problem. A witch named Bathsheba was about to lose her home. As a result, she killed her baby and cursed everyone who took her land. She then hung herself in the tree outside. Anyone who took her land would become possessed and kill their child. Once their child was killed, they wouldn't be possessed anymore, however, looking at the history, Lorraine found out that many of the mothers killed themselves after learning that they had killed their child. Carolyn eventually became possessed after the witch began feeding off of her. She attempted to kill Christine and April. The Warrens came just in time to perform an exorcism, which broke the curse.

One more to go, Judy thought.

Enfield Poltergeist Haunting, 1979

A single mother lived in England with her four kids. Her youngest daughter, Janet, was the target. At first, during the night, their beds started shaking and it appeared that Janet was talking to someone, After their dresser flew across the room, they ran to their neighbors house for safety. The police checked their house but could not find anything. They knew something was up when Billy was chased by the crooked man and Janet had become possessed. The Warrens were informed through their church. They reluctantly took on the case. They believed that Bill Wilkins was wanting his house back. They left after they caught Janet faking an incident but Lorraine got a vision that explained Bill Wilkins and the crooked man were just pawns to hide the true demon, Valak. They got back to the Hodgson's house just in time from saving Janet from jumping out her window and they sent Valak back to hell.

Judy knew this was just the beginning of what was about to happen.
