A different twilight

Chapter 11

I was picked up by Jake and he carried me to Carlisle's medical room. I could feel the babies moving around.

*Time skip to birth of first child*
The final push and out came a baby boy. " Natalie say hi to little Laurence." Jake wrapped him in a blanket and handed him to me while he cut the umbilical cord. I held him close and let Jake take him to clean him up. Rose then took over. " Natalie just push and breathe. Emmett go hold her hand so she can squeeze it." I took Emmett's hand and squeezed giving birth was quite painful. " God damn Natalie don't break my hand." Emmett said. I loosened my grip on his hand and Rose grabbed the baby girl and looked at her. She smiled at her and Emmett stepped away so he could cut the cord. Rose grabbed a blanket and went to clean the baby off and Carlisle came to me and made sure I was okay and I cleaned myself up and walked to a bathroom and took a bath and had Alice help I was still kinda weak. My once enlarged stomach had gone back to its original size and I wasn't bleeding, but was covered in my own blood. I stripped down and got into the tub full of warm water with the help of Alice and had her do most of the work beside washing my body I would do that myself. I walked out and saw Jake holding Laurence in his arms smiling. " You know you look just like your mother... absolutely beautiful. You have the greatest mom ever she'll never let anything hurt you. I'm so lucky to have her." He murmured to the baby. I teared up and quickly wiped it away. I walked over to him and he scooted over so I could sit next to him and gently passed Laurence over to me so I could hold him. " Rose you were right I love everything about this. Having a child it's one of the greatest things in the world" I said as I stroked Laurence's forehead with my index finger. He giggled and it melted my heart. " You know he has your eyes Jake, but has a rim of blue like mine around them." I said. I looked next to me where Jacob was smiling at me and kissed my cheek. I held Laurence close and remembered something. " Jake I need you to go get boy stuff for him." He ran out of the room and I heard him start up the car. Emmett did the same me and Rose looked at each other and smiled. "You know what I find funny Corinna has golden eyes like yours." I guess it was meant to be. It was 2:00 pm when the boys had left and they just came back. I looked at the clock and it read 3:23 pm. I smiled as Jake and Emmett unloaded stuff out of our Kia soul and brought it in the direction of our house and Jake helped Emmett carry the stuff for Corinna into the Cullen house and brought it upstairs. I was getting kinda tired, but didn't let it show. " Hey do you want me to take over for a little." I heard a familiar voice. I looked next to me and there sat Edward. " Sure. Here just cradle his head in the space of your elbow and hold him with the other arm." I explained as I moved him into Edward's arms. He looked a bit afraid knowing how strong he was and how fragile the baby was. Laurence poked his arm through the blanket and grabbed Edward's finger and giggled. Edward chuckled and I smiled. " You know he makes you look like a big softy." Jake said from the bottom of the stairs. Edward smiled and continued to play with Laurence while I went to go get some needed sleep. I woke up in our house bedroom instead of in my old bedroom in the Cullen house. I smiled and went to the nursery to start planning how I would decorate it. I entered to see Laurence sleeping in the crib and Jake passed out in the rocking chair across the room. The room was completed. Probably by Alice and Jasper. I laughed to myself and woke up Jake. " Hey go get into our bed and sleep I got it from here." Jake groaned and got up and walked to our bedroom and fell back asleep. I smiled to myself and Laurence woke up crying. I read his mind quickly. He had a weird nightmare about the voltori. I picked him up and brought him over to the rocking chair and sat down with him. " Hey. It's ok momma is here. I won't let them hurt you." I said hushing him. He looked into my eyes and calmed down. They will never hurt him or Corinna. I'll make sure of it.
