Chapter 12

This is what Laurence and Corinna look like now. Just imagine them with the corresponding eye colors I gave them.

*two months later*
" Natalie! Come in here quick." Jake yelled to me. I ran into the living room where the whole pack and Cullen family were. Edward stared at me and looked like he was going to cry. Jake handed me a letter and I read it out loud. " Dear Mrs. Natalie Black, it has come to our attention that you were pregnant with two children a boy and girl. We are not informed of what they are capable of so we will meet you when the summer starts to meet these children and to take care of them if necessary. Sincerely the voltori..." My heart dropped and I collapsed. " Mom!" Laurence yelled and ran to my side. I sat on the floor and so did he. I motioned him to come close to me and I grabbed him and held him. " I'm ok. I want you to stay here with me and your father for the rest of the winter. I'm not risking your life at the voltori's hands." I said breaking down into tears. He hugged me back and I released him from my grasp. " Wait mom they said you were pregnant with two kids what happened to the girl?" I looked at Rose and nodded my head to the kitchen and got up and she followed. " What do we tell them?" Rose asked quietly. " The truth. I have to tell them for their safety if they don't know they're at more of a risk. Corinna isn't going to just call me mom and totally forget about you. I would know I can see into the future. She is still your child she just knows the total truth." I said. She nodded and walked out and called Laurence and Corinna into the kitchen. " Laurence you're right I was pregnant with two you and Corinna. I couldn't keep up with two children so before you guys were born I offered Corinna to Rose. Rose can't have children like me and your father because we're half werewolf. I didn't want to risk your safety so I kept it from you." I said and sat down on a stool. Laurence came to my side and put his hand on my shoulder. " I understand completely, but is it still okay if Rose is mom." Corinna said to me looking down. " Of course...I wouldn't have it any other way. You are Rose's daughter and Laurence is my son. You guys don't have to take each other in as siblings. Being cousins would make this easier on both of you." I said lifting her chin to look at me. I smiled at her and brought her into a hug. She hugged back and walked over to Rose and hugged her tightly. I smiled and brought Laurence into my arms. " Mom who are the voltori?" He asked me looking towards the doorway where Edward had entered. Edward can you please explain. I asked through my mind taking the shield down. He nodded and took a seat next to me. " The voltori are the closest thing the vampire world has to royality. Carlisle spent a bit of time with them, but was disgusted how they did not have the vegetarian diet that we have. So he left, but the voltori is made up of very old and powerful vampires. Some are very new or somewhat old, but all have extraordinary gifts. They are nothing like your mother though. She is the most powerful vampire. She somehow has all power that are known of to the vampire world. The voltori tried to recruit her when she was just getting married to Jacob. Carlisle told her and she has trained in secrecy from them, but Aro found out. He wouldn't dare make Natalie mad or become the cause of her death. So they hope that you are a danger so they can kill you and make her break down to where she is weak enough to take to their side, but she is tougher than that I would know. There is also a power that she has that is completely new... the power to heal or bring a person back from death." He finished and looked at me. I glanced at the floor.
I walked over to Edward's ashes and resurrected him. I couldn't deal with guilt.
I let myself shed some tears before wiping them away. I walked out of the kitchen and walked up the stairs to my balcony. I took a deep breathe and smiled at what I saw. Edward was playing football with Laurence while Rose and Alice were sitting with Corinna watching.
The voltori were coming towards us and Aro smiled at me. " Still have that spot for you Natalie." Aro said motioning towards the rest of the vampires beside him. " Never!" I spat at him. " Well let's continue with the children then shall we." He walked towards Laurence first and walked around him staring at him up and down. He then went to Corinna. He snapped his fingers and two male vampires flashed over to them and restrained them. " Mom!" Laurence yelled. " It'll be okay trust me. Aro let them go." I said warning him. He looked at me and smiled. He flashed over to them and snapped their necks off their bodies. " NO!" Jacob yelled beside me. I collapsed and started to cry.
I was gasping for air and Laurence and Edward ran towards me and jumped onto the balcony. " Natalie...we won't let that happen okay." Edward said to calm me down. I was crying quietly to myself and held my knees to my chest. Laurence grasped his hands in mine and made me look at him. " It'll be okay trust me." I looked at him. It was the exact words I had said in my vision. I nodded and got up and sat down in a chair. " Edward we need to be able to fight back." I said quickly regaining my composure. " I'm not letting anyone hurt my family again. Not now when I have love back in my life." I said walking away.
