I slammed my hammer in the burning blade, forging a new weapon for weapon using wizards and knights. This has always been my job ever since I was born in this cave. My father and the father before him all the way back to our first generation, we were blacksmiths that could craft the finest of weapons for mass destruction, create armor to be the ultimate shield, and smelt any metal or mystical creatures into materials for weapons and armor. Kingdoms, traveling heroes, and wizards would try to find me in the mountains at the tallest peek, but that's not where I lived anymore. No, I lived with a woman I loved when she first came to me for a sword and armor. Ah, the memories when I was young I first met the girl when I was ninety eight years old, still a kid at that age, when my father was training me that fine gal found me and my father. She requested a blade and armor she wanted, but instead of my father crafting her request I was in charge of making the blade and armor for her.

I had gotten to know that day after crafting her first armor and sword, but not so much to be called as friends. The days past by like a running river as those days when Erza requested new armor and swords, I would gladly fill them out, but one day we had an accident. I accidentally fell on top of her and grabbed her right breast with my right hand, of course, I got punched off, but it wasn't enough to see her hate me. We both hadn't spoken to each other until one day we both broke the ice between us and emitted our love for each other. Those were the good old days of being a teen.

She was the most beautiful girl when we first met back in those days, but now she was still beautiful despite us having a small sword match to see who is dominate. Usually it was always her to win this match, she would kindly stop me from working and go out exploring with her, but when luck favored me, I would Erza go on a date with me every time I won. We usually show our emotions to each other when the others were around, no we would show our emotion when we're alone.

Slamming my hammer down on the heated metal, I began to shape the metal into a crescent blade before dumping it in a barrel of water. The sound of bubbling water and extinguished heat filled my ears as I pulled out the blade. This blade I was hammering down to shape was made out of a metal in the deserted temple of a mystical being called a jackal demon that terrorize anyone that gets near the temple. How she managed to defeat the jackal is beyond me.

I held the crescent blade in my left while I walked over to a bench and set the blade down. I searched around for something that could wrap around the hand to give it a comfortable grip, yep firm one also, for the wielder to feel like their holding something that could be sticky like glue, but soft as wool. I found a string of golden wool, this wool was sheared off a golden goat, this wool was soft as silk and also can be held in a loosen grip when someones holds onto the wool. Returning back to the crescent sword, I wrapped the string of wool around the handle until it covered all the metal on the handle.

'Sword is done and now to present the blade with a gift.' I held the blade in my left hand and exited out of my blacksmith basement to my room upstairs. There was a special gift in my nightstand drawer, a gift that would take our relationship to the next level to one we both may surprise her with this, but it was the best thing I could forge with silver talons and flawless sapphires. I reached my room and opened the drawer near my bed then pulled out a black box with that gift inside of it. Today Erza and I has a match to make to see if the blade I made could withstand her magic and strength then this blade would be worthy for her to use.

I went downstairs to the living room, to see if Erza was around before going back in the basement to sharpen both sides of the blade.

"Hey let me go damn it!" I watched as a small thief tries to escape from my grip. The little baster had stolen many jewels and valued items from people around the kingdom, but his days of stealing were over. My mission I took today's was to capture a thief, stealing every nobles' valuables. Yet, this mission felt too easy for ten thousand, I didn't even have to fight this thief so it was best I give him to the guards around to send him to prison.

I dragged the little thief to a guards station nearby and gave the thief to the guards. After that I went back home to see if (Y/N) had made any new swords for me to use, but not without buying two amethyst necklaces. The other necklace is a gift for (Y/N) since we've been dating for most of our lives and yet I wonder when we both are ready to take up our relationship to the next.

[Time skip]

I arrived at our house to see all the lights were on meaning that he was still home and was relaxing. I smiled softly as I entered inside the house, but when I went inside petals of roses littered the ground all the way upstairs. Curious of where they led I followed them upstairs to (Y/N) bedroom and opened the door to his room.

On (Y/N) bed was a sword and a note on it along with a blue ribbon. I walked over to the bed and picked up the not before reading it to myself.

Dear Erza

You probably wondering why was there petals of roses leading to my room. Well, the reason will be told if you could follow this riddle I put.

The ground is solid with no substance of water in it, the weather is cold for no human to live in, and the graves of my fathers' lie underneath it. Where am I at? As we have met here when I crafted you the first blade.

My mind clicked of what the riddle was, it was the mountains near here where I first met him. I grabbed the sword on the bed and ran out to the mountains nearby.

I swung my legs back and forth as I stared at the town. The note I left for Erza should spark her memory, but I wasn't sure if it did since it has been nineteen years ago when I left this mountain. I continued swinging my legs until the sound of footsteps was behind me.

"Took you long Erza." I said, leaning back I saw my girlfriend behind me holding the crescent sword in her left and two necklaces in her right. Erza softly smiled at me as she sat down next to me. I stared at the necklaces in her left hand wondering why she has them until it dawned on me, they were probably gifts for me, one for her and the other for me.

"I find it ironic that you thought it took me a long time to met you here." Erza said, causing me to chuckle. She handed me one of the necklace and tied the other round the sword, I created, then held my hand in hers. I felt myself blush but pushed that aside and brought out the small box. Erza noticed the box in my hand before her eyes widen in shock.

"Erza, I known you for a long time since I crafted your first sword and armor, I loved you after we declared our love to each other." I held out the small box to Erza and opened it up, revealing a sapphire ring, then continued where I left off." And I wanted to take our relationship up more and so I ask you this will you marry me?"

I stared into Erza's eyes and watched her stare at the box in my hand, she glance up at me then at the ring before a strand of tear went down her cheek.

"Yes!" Erza jumped onto me and wrapped arms around me, bringing me into a deep kiss. I pushed my lips against hers in joy of having her now in my life permanently. Maybe the sword fight will be on hold until we get back home.
