Chapter Ten

Hailee's POV:

"Morning." Tyler chirps once I finally come downstairs. "Ugh." I groan. Have I mentioned I am not a morning person? "Shut up and eat your pancakes." Tyler says, pointing to a plate. "Oooooh." I squeal, running up to the plate, forgetting how tired I am. "Tyler, you better keep this one." Jane says laughing. I blush while Tyler chokes on his orange juice, which only makes Jane laugh harder. Once Jan stops laughing Tyler speaks up. "Would you like to go for a walk later Hailee?" Tyler asks just as I shove a mouthful of pancakes in my mouth. Talk about great timing. I nod my head, unable to talk. I swallow my food before replying. "What about Toby and Jane?" I ask Tyler. "They are going to watch a movie today." He answers. "Oh, okay." I reply.

"Ready?" Tyler asks walking into my room as I slip on my shoes. I nod, standing up but accidentaly tripping over my own feet and falling into Tyler's arms. "S-sorry." I say, trying to hide my blush. Embarrassing much?! Tyler chuckles softly before replying with. "Don't worry about it." I look up, still in his arms. Tyler's cheeks are slightly pink. Aww he was blushing too?

We come across a forest while we are on our walk. "Come on." Tyler says, tugging on my arm. A few minutes pass in silence before I break it. "You're not going to kill me here...are you?" I ask, kind of joking and kind of not. Tyler laughs. "I'm hurt you think of me like that." Tyler says while honding a hand over his heart. I roll my eyes. Man I love this guy. Wait. Love? I've only known him for a few months. "Hurry up." Tyler says impatiently, pulling me away from my thoughts. "Wait." He says. "Cover your eyes...no peeking." Tyler instructs. "Uhhhh why?" I ask confused. "Just do it." He says. "Okay, okay." I decide to listen to him. We walk for a few minutes before we stop again, except, I didn't exactly know we were stopping so I walked into Tyler's back. "Ouch." I say while Tyler laughs at me. "Jerk." I say, which only makes Tyler laugh more. "Oh, you can look now." He says after he stops laughing.

"Wow." I say breathlessly. Tyler and I are standing in the middle of a large clearing. "How did you find this?" I ask in wonder. "I come here to think all of the time, besides Blake, you're the only other person who knows about this place." Tyler says. Awww. Tyler walks slowly towards me. "I like you Hailee. I really, really like you." He says still walking towards me. He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me close. "W-will you be my girlfriend?" He asks nervously. I nod my head happily. "Yes." I say. Tyler grins before his lips land on mine in a passionate kiss.
