Two days later, you found yourself following some asshole that killed his wife and some how got away with it. You were about to turn his ass into something useful.

He left the bar and started walking home, he was stumbling and falling apart but lucky for you, he was stupid enough to walk into the dark alley you had picked for him, making you the job ten times easier.

You hit him from behind with the back of your gun and when he realized what was going on, you stabbed him two times in his stomach. He grabbed his wound as he slowly started to fade away.

Tessa, the reaper, appeared to take him.

- "(Y/N)?" she asked confused. "You did this? Why?".

- "I need your help".

- "(Y/N), I'm sorry but I thought I told you we cannot speak ever again" she kneeled to the bastard and touched his shoulder, finally ending his pain. She was about to dissapear when she noticed she couldn't move.

- "Reaper's trap" you slightly grin at her when you pointed out the black paint on the floor.

- "I can't help you" she shook his head in denial.

- "Yes you can Tessa, you told me you owed me one, remember? Remember when I saved your ass a few years back? Do you really need a reminder?".

Reapers are supposed to be completely neutral beings, not caring for pretty much anything. They must refuse to make allowances, regardless of who or why but sometimes, they break the rules. That's what happened with Tessa a few years back. She was capable of experiencing emotions just like humans and ended up falling in love with a man. Of course, this could never happen but it did so she reached out to you and asked for your help.

Someday you'll need a Reaper on your side and I'll be there for you, (Y/N). No matter how much it costs me

For months, you did a lot of dark magic spells in order to wipe her from Death's radar so she could have a moment or two with the man she loved. Until, call it fate or whatever, his time came and she had to take him.
You needed her right now, you knew that when Dean's time came, she was going to be the one to take him to Hell.

- "No, I don't" she looked down. "What do you need?".

- "Dean Winchester's soul is being held by a demon contract that expires in less than a week, I need you to hook him off of it".

- "Are you insane?" she chuckled. "No, you are delusional. I don't have that kind of power (Y/N). I just do what I'm told, I can't just break the natural order because you ask me to. It doesn't work that way" she explained.

- "Then tell me how could you help me" you approached her. "Tessa, come on. I helped you with the love of your life... you have to help me with mine" you pleaded, your eyes watering.

- "Anyone but him (Y/N), do you have any idea how much attention would it be getting the little fact that Dean Winchester is still walking on earth? I could be killed!".

- "But you could you help me?".

- "Your soul isn't the one holding the contract" she stated.

- "But if I managed to somehow trade places with him, would you help me?".

- "If and only if you managed to pull that off, which let me tell you you won't, then yeah, I'll bring you back" she finally agreed so you let her go off her trap. "You know how to contact me" she said before vanishing.

That same night, you gathered everything you needed and drove to the place to summon the demon. This needed to happen, it was your only shot. You didn't have much time left.

・・・

- "Well well well, what a pretty girl we have here" the crossroads demon in a long black dress said surrounding you like a pray, her eyes up and down. "I might be having extra fun with you tonight".

- "Sorry darling, I don't swing that way" you replied with a smirk.

- "What can I do for you sweetheart? Do I need to fix your little broken heart?".

- "I want Dean Winchester's contract".

She let out a loud evil laugh.

- "Honey, I admire your guts to come here and ask me that. And to be honest, if we were dealing with somebody else, I'd help you in a heart beat but a Winchester, I'm not giving him up for anything in the world" she said still laughing, her arms crossed, red eyes fixed on you.

- "Oh my god, that's so cute. You thought I asked" you sarcastically said, pulling your gun out and shooting her right in the head.

You moved her to a little cabin you had found in the outskirts and sat her below a demon's trap. Sparking holy water on her until she woke up from the pain she was feeling.

- "You little bitch, you shot me? What the hell did you do to me?" she asked as she arched her back in pain.

- "Devil trap carved bullets" you showed her right in the face with a smirk. "Now that I think about it, we really are going to have extra fun tonight" you said reaching the tools you had by the table. This wasn't slowing down.

- "There's no amount of torture that's going to make me drop that contract" she laughed.

- "Oh we'll see. We are just getting started".

You started torturing her and for a moment you actually thought she wouldn't give in, until somehow, something made her soul twist.

- "Okay okay" she pleaded, blood everywhere, her face tired from hanging on for that long. "I can't give you Dean Winchester". You approached the knife again. "But but" she exclaimed making you stop "ask me anything else and I'll do it".

- "I want Dean Winchester's contract" you started cutting her again.

- "Then kill me already! If I give up his contract, my boss is going to kill me anyway. I can't do that, there's just too much attention around him okay?".

- "I want to trade places with him then" you grabbed a chair sitting in front of her.

- "What?" she asked surprised. "You really are stupid, aren't you?". Again, you stood up but she stopped you. "Okay, okay. I'll do it. It's your deathwish".

- "And Sam Winchester keeps living" you added making sure she understood the conditions.

- "The contract still stands the way it was only he's off the hook and at the end of the week, is your soul the one going to be dragged to Hell. Kiss me and we seal the deal".

You kissed her and a huge weight fell off your shoulders.

- "A pleasure doing business with you, love" you said with a smirk, finally killing her for good.

You drove back to town, your mind racing but a new feeling was invading you and it was calm, pure calm. Dean was off the hook, Dean could now live a long happy life along his brother and if things didn't worked out with Tessa, you didn't care. At least he was going to be okay.

Entering the motel room you booked for the night, you sat by the bed with a bunch of sleeping pills in your hand and your phone in the other. You knew there was only a way to contact Tessa so you needed to somehow, put yourself in a comma, you only wished this wouldn't kill you.
