Act 3 : Part 4

The buzzing of the bees around him starts to feel less and less annoying as moments pass by. the fact that he's lost turns out to be a greater distraction. Because, why, of course, he just had to go off track! Goodness, Taehyung, could you be anymore of a basic dumb blonde!

Right when his self-cursing intensifies, Taehyung finds himself going tense from the sound of wood snapping. According to Taehyung's 10/10 hearing, it's a sure case that whoever (or whatever) made the sound was near him.

"fuck -" a loud cuss made itself known through the humid forest air, sounding oddly frustated.

Taehyung frowns to himself upon hearing the voice. unsurprisingly, it was a voice he was very familiar with. Anyone else, in this case would've stayed silent, but Taehyung isn't anyone else, so instead, he wishpered "lost?"

The male in question doesn't give him a reply. Taehyung hears footsteps, slightly muffled by the thick layer of leaves, but it's there. the world fell silent for a while, it was by then when he decided that his question would be left unanswered -goddamnit, Jeon Jungkook, always being such a -

"Taehyung?"

Said male jumped in his current spot. For the first time since he came to the area, Taehyung finds his horrified expression and puts it on maximum level.

Jeon Jungkook -Jeon fucking Jungkook was bending down to his level, face just inches away from his own, Taehyung could smell, he could feel Jungkook's pepermint breath on his face.

Due to the high level of shock he was in, Taehyung doesn't think twice before he dumbly said, "no." A part of him suddenly remembers Jimin's disbelieving expression and that gave him an idea. "it's -you're dreaming. High, on drugs."

"oh?"

"yes."

Taehyung was so hooked on the idea of getting away from the younger male that he forgets the fact that he's lost. So though it was somehow a good thing for him when Jungkook grabs him by the shoulder and carried him bridal-style through the bushes, Taehyung screams like all hell had just broken loose.

"I'M NOT REAL, LET ME GO!" he shouted at the top of his lungs, though the younger doesn't budge at his words. "JUNGKOOK LET ME GO!"

"you know, actually, i am, infact, lost." The younger suddenly starts in the midst of the ruckuss Taehyung had made. "and while i look like i know what i'm doing, i don't."

"fu -what?"

Jungkook gradually puts the elder to the ground, but not without a vice grip on the other's wrist -just to make sure the other won't run away again.

"i guess we're gonna be stuck here for a while. So can i just first say that i'm sorry -"
