"Stella! Get back to earth, protect the humans!" Lilio exclaimed. The chains around him tightened, crushing his bones.

Stella could only stare at Shiori, who completely changed. Where was the sweet boy she first met? He certainly wasn't here, he never was after they met she figured. His eyes were still horrifying.

"The least I could do was to give you a choice... and you chose all the wrong ones." He smiled. Stella remembered faintly about the papers that have gone missing. He didn't give them to the general, he had them with him, he was learning the plans of what the soldiers were going to do. He made sure to stay a step ahead. Shiori acted innocent and guarded her to gain her trust.

This shattered Stella. Tears started welling up as she continued to look at Shiori in disbelief. "I- I- I thought I could trust you.." She stuttered.

The general wasn't even real, he created her so he could lead them to think that she was the leader of all this; Shiori was the General.

"How could you?" Stella asked, tears were spilling over and falling to the ground at a rapid rate. "I trusted you!" She cried out, holding her throbbing shoulder.

Shiori raised his pistol again and shot her arm again. Stella held in her scream and looked at him. Her face twisted with pain, anger, and sadness. "You were my first friend I ever had and this is what you do?!" She asked.

He ran up to her and threw her. "I can't believe you actually got away with what you did!"

Shiori quickly kicked her legs from under her and then stomped on her head. "Shiori, why would you betray me? Why would you betray Lilio... why would you do that to everyone else?" She asked.

"Shiori?"

"Shiori? Who's Shiori... he isn't here anymore."

His hair wasn't the pretty white color, it was now jet black. His Iris's were a blistering red. His skin was paler that I'm was before and there was dark surrounding his eyes.

He kicked her, but she didn't fight back. She couldn't bring herself to fight him. "I can't fight you. You're my friend." She said, looking to the ground. He looked at her with confusion, his smile no longer there. He walked towards her and lifted her head up by her chin to face him. Stella was fighting to remain conscious. The Beast and Insanity were breaking apart bit by bit within her mind, leaving only two figures left: the girl and the one in the distance with its eyes closed.

Shioris golden eyes widened as he stared stared at the girl. "Where are we?" He asked. "You mind." The girl said, her back to him. "Who are you?" "I'm her!" "Who's that?" "Stella! You've killed two of my others. There's only Me, Stella and the other one. Though we have to be quiet, She's still asleep, I don't know when she's going to wake up." The girl whispered. Shiori looked at the slumbering figure, resting on black and white tiles. "Why isn't she awake?"

"There is not enough will power in this world to wake her up, I tried everything but it didn't work. It's as if she's forcing herself to stay asleep." The girl said and closed her eyes.

There was a long silence until the girl turned around and faced him. "Why didn't you tell me you were so angry in our life before this? I would have done everything to have helped you Shiori."

It was Mato, she was the host for these other selves. "Why was Beast and Insanity created? why was Stella made to be you? Why can't I remember what happened before this? I was just telling Stella what I was told. Why were all of these created? Why did you make those other selves Mato?"

She stared at him, sadness overtaking her normally happy look. "It shouldn't matter.. You're here in front of me."

"Is that why you betrayed Lilio and I? Is that why you took the papers? Is that why you denied everything? Just because you wanted to find me? You found me the moment you saw Stella. Those were all fake memories given to you. I may have been made better and unstoppable in a lab but I wasn't created in one. Now you let your other self take control, and I can't do anything because if I fight I'll kill you, so I might as well just DIE!" Mato yelled and shoved him back.

"I can't fight you because if I do, Lilio will be the only friend I have left. But if I don't, Lilio and I will not survive, and neither will the rest of the humans. I don't have the guts to fight, but I am too competitive to loose."

Shiori bowed his head. "Do what you need to do, alright? It doesn't matter if I die. What matters is that the human race survives."

Mato was taken aback, he could say that so easily while it took every bit she had just to yell at him. "I- I want to understand." She admitted. "Understand what?"

"Why you would let anger, hate, and fear control you."

He could have only fought for so long.

A taunting voice rang out from above them, causing both of them to look up. Mato looked down quickly to see Shiori being dragged by chains. His screams were drowned out by laughter. Then the pistol-headed figures came into view again. They shot him and shot him and shot him. He cried and begged them to stop.

"The reason why he let his other self take control was because he could no longer fend off the bullies and him any more. He was fighting against his depressed thoughts." Mato thought to herself while she raced towards him. She needed to protect him, She had to protect him.

She wanted to protect him.

You were the worst thing to have ever happen to this world.

The words would echo each time they would shoot. He was writing in pain, fear in his eyes as he tried to crawl away but couldn't.

As Mato came closer she could hear him call for help. She ran as fast as she could and didn't let up. She dove towards him and hugged him as tightly as she could, protecting him from the Pistol-headed freaks. Shiori cried out and it broke Matos heart to hear him say, "I don't want to be alive anymore. Please, just let me die already I've had all I could take!" He yelled. Mato held onto him tighter. "Don't say that! Please! I Need you to stay alive. I want you to see the world.

Back into the real world, Lilio, tried with all his might to break the chains even with his broken bones. Stella was fighting back. "Fight like a dog it will get you no closer to winning!" The boy growled. Stella bared her teeth and attacked again, this time nearly knocking him down. "Give me back Shiori!" Stella begged, drawing out her sword and slicing through the air.

the boy that took over Shioris body took her feet out from under her again and turned her own sword against her. And plunged it into her heart like she was stone.
